There still are a small handful of CBs out there that could help us and we wouldn't have to go CB in Rd 1 or 2. Leon Hall is a cheap alternative that I think would be a solid starting CB for us.

But pass rush? Appears that ship has sailed. Unless the Cowboys have gone silly on us and think Adrian Clayborn or Chris Long solves our pass rush problems.

At some point the FO has to realize that drafting CBs in the first round is not a good strategy. None have panned out, and at some point they have to start thinking that its not the players. Jenkins, Claiborn, Jones, Carr, (in FA), all valuable resources spent on them with little to no results. But yeah, let's spend another early first round pick on another one this year. Same with DE, 2 second round picks and a 4th in the past 2 years. Let's go get another one.... Meanwhile, S, WR, and RB keeps getting ignored. Brilliant planning and strategy. This is one reason there is little quality depth on this team. Take a couple of CB with the 12 6th round picks they have, they'll probably play on par with out high round CBs. Meanwhile we can have the battle of the Moore's for back up QB.

All of you can say that's being too brash or that I'm overreacting. The only free agent signings left are second tier talent who are meant to provide depth. Who gives a rats *** if we get those players on cheap contacts.

The FO may say that the Dallas Cowboys are close to competing for a championship, but their actions prove otherwise. Going out and picking up a prime free agent is not strapping the team down. Going out and picking up a prime free agent is meant to get a team over the hill and into that upper echelon.

You can't be scared to spend money and hand out decent contracts just because you have a history of failing in that area. Damn!! Frustrating team

Not sure why we have to get a CB. Getting one would certainly allow us to play Jones strictly at free safety, but right now, our starting lineup is Carr and Scandrick at corner and Jones and Church at safety. In the nickel, Jones moves to corner in the nickel and Wilcox or Heath comes in at safety.

Again, it would be best if we add a nickel corner and keep Jones at safety, but it's not a have-to situation.

Getting a DE is a have-to situation since Gregory is suspended ... but we need depth there even if he wasn't.
