So we went from having Pat Summerall calling our games to Thom Brennaman?

Seriously how pathetic was that guy today? I wish more of our games were on CBS.

It's an injustice to us and Brian Billick, who I happen to think is one of the better color guys.

I'm not the kind of guy to believe that every announcer hates the Cowboys, but does Brenneman have something against us? Was he a former beat writer for the team who Jerry drunkenly chewed out? I don't understand the hatred he showed towards the Cowboys today.

He's proof positive that you can have a serious glue huffing habit and still retain an national announcing job as long as your father was a former longtime announcer. Aint no nepotism like sports announcing nepotism.

It's one thing to be a completely incompetent play by play announcer regularly calling the wrong guy, but then he thinks the audience badly needs his football insights and brain droppings as a color analyst as well. I don't know who started this fad (although I suspect it's Joe Buck), but Dear God make it stop.

The only consolation will be listening to BaD radio absolutely rip him tomorrow and plays clips of his game low-lights, as they do everytime Brennamen announces a Cowboys game.

I think you may be on to something with your suspicions.

Better than listening to Aikman and his stupid partner on the Giants love fest broadcast....

him, tom jackson, and chris berman have some silly beef with us for some odd reason. i'd prefer this guy and his monotone voice never do a cowboys game again.

I will never in a million years understand the passion some fans have about who calls the game.

I bet easily half the time I couldn't tell you the day after who called the Cowboys game on Sunday.

Watched the second half on mute, part superstition, part inability to bear Brennaman

Used to enjoy summerall, reminds me of the good ol days.

Brenaman is an outright idiot.

The quote by either him or BB saying how they were moving Spencer around like a linebacker today was just PATHETIC... Come on, at least know the players and their position if that what your job entails....

Billick wasn't much better.

he called Miles Austin......."Austin Miles"...... and later referred to Mike Zimmer as "Mike Zimmerman".....

I laughed at the Austin Miles comment. I used to get it messed up when he first made the team as our Kick returner.

his worst moment was when law firm broke the long run and sensabaugh tackled him and he said:

another flag...this will be on dallas or something along those lines.

it was a block in the back on sims by green.

There were a few classic one-line blunders not mentioned here yet. I cant remember them.

It is pretty sad when my wife screams at them telling them to at least get the names correct.

I agree, he says it like it is and is very unbiased. He also adds a lot of quality information because of his coaching background.

I actually like Brennaman usually, they did the Baltimore game too.

But he's from Cincinnati, I think he was letting his bias show through a bit today
