Lol, they are having the best offseason ever. No, but I will know that it's wasted effort on a loser QB. Dak is a CHOKER...any and all hope in him is fool's gold.

Dak is easily the best qb that he has ever played with.Requiring conformity is evidence of the weakness of one's argument. Why would you not rather the argument - if it's as ironclad strong as a person might believe - be battle-tested? So, I'm skeptical of Pickens because of the pressure on him to perform WITH a choker QB who is playing with a hobbled wheel. Does this mean I can't watch the games now? It's unreal.
LOL @ the positivity cartel. Good one.
Hate to tell you he likely will be cutSo called fans like you are comical. You have no idea how this trade will work out....just keep yapping and throwing crap against the wall to watch it ooze down. So freaking miserable and then dragging others with you. Can someone post a pee wee Herman Pic? Oh, wait...that one's taken.
Now cue the cult, coming to the rescue.

Possible, some would say probable. I say, with an improved OL, RBs and WRs groups, there will not be any excuses. Dak can be very good, he needs a coach in his ear throughout the game. Can't leave him alone with that deer in the headlights look that he gets. They leave him alone too much. QB coach needs to be on the sideline and not the boxOk, we agree here too. So herein lies my issue: Dak is a rhythm, streaky thrower of the football. Now once he's in rhythm and feeling good about himself, he can be "near-MVP" Dak. However, we all heard him say after the 1-2 start which turned into the 1-4 start with Dak last year "...my best football is yet to come...". And it never came...because he was still "rusty".
Now, has he come out hot before? Yes, at Tampa in the opener one year and I believe he did his contract years. But most times, Dak needs a few games to get there. When you add injury and a year of sitting, I'm not hopeful he'll figure it out. Meanwhile, Pickens...he might be ready to explode if we start off 1-4 like last year and Dak is tossing the ball to the other team.
Or he may not....our opinions don't mean anything. I prefer to at least give him a shot, than to just cut bait.Hate to tell you he likely will be cut
Everything heals in time but man that was a nasty injury, and great point on the mental aspect.I think it be healed in time, but I think his biggest issue with it, will be the mental block, in dealing with it. Especially, if they baby him during preseason and don't get him a decent amount of reps.
Had a QB suffer an avulsion in his ankle. He missed one game. Had surgery at the end if the surgery and didn't miss spring ballEverything heals in time but man that was a nasty injury, and great point on the mental aspect.
Even though DT is highly suspect, the biggest question for me on this team is about Prescotts health…..I mean, as far as players go that is.
Yep everyone is different. A torn hammy is one thing. Was supposedly separated from the bone though. Ooof.Had a QB suffer an avulsion in his ankle. He missed one game. Had surgery at the end if the surgery and didn't miss spring ball
I was reading the Steelers fans being pissed off they only got a 3rd for Pickens.. and one guy said..I still don’t see how this is a big deal
If any other team traded a 4th for Mingo no one would bat an eye
Avulsion are bad. I had a similar injury a couple of years ago. 1 and a half inch tear....didn't completely come of bone. Rest and therapy took care of it, but I am far from an elite athlete. Just like a torn ACL, you can walk, but you can't run. Most of these injuries make the area stronger. You are right, we need Dak to return to form, ASAP. If he gets hurt later in the season, Milton may be ready, be an early injury and it's all overYep everyone is different. A torn hammy is one thing. Was supposedly separated from the bone though. You’ve got the mental thing, plus very likely being told not to run (I specifically remember Jerry saying “we don’t WANT Dak to run” a few days before the injury). He ain’t running much this year.
I really couldnt know what to expect. Folks can say what they want about Prescott and his shortcomings, same with the team overall, but the season is absolute toast if he goes down early similar to last year or 2020.

Injuries cut my playing days to 5 and a half seasons. Worst injury I ever had happened when I got bucked off a horse and dragged aboit 40 yards. 18 years old, drunk as all hell on Spring Break in Mexico. Required a complete ankle reconstruction. Worst part was when they cut off my custom made size 15 kangaroo skinned boot! You never played ball, you got all injured running down cattle.
"Buck you"... said your horse, get off, tell it to the cop.
no i do not believe that i think the jones will keep mingo to save face that they made horrible trade and wasted a fourth round pick the same way they kept lance last year.If you really feel that way then you are 100% clueless and need help. Mingo won’t even be on the active roster after this trade and will probably not even make it out of camp
,,, not sure why some people are writing mingo off already. Last season was not conducive to evaluating WRs at all.Cmon man...its only a 4th. Hit or miss. Same as Mingo... hit or miss. At least we swung
Definitely a lot of zoner on zoner crime.I love how the Cowboys are so bad that the fans have turned on each other lol. This thread is comical.
A complete tear from the bone of a hamstring is better than being partially torn. At least as far as healing goes.Yep everyone is different. A torn hammy is one thing. Was supposedly separated from the bone though. Ooof.

Many 4th rounders don't last long in the NFLIf you really feel that way then you are 100% clueless and need help. Mingo won’t even be on the active roster after this trade and will probably not even make it out of camp
When you look at Dallas 4th round picks in recent history V Fehoko Jr. , Jake Fergason, Jabril Cox, Josh Ball, Reggie Robinson, T Biadasz, I think Mingo is as good as any of these players.that fourth could have gotten us a better RB for starters
or maybe a better DT
so anyone thinking it was worthless is an idiot
Pickens is the kind of rental you make when the team on the precipice of competing and need that one more piece. This team isn't close to competing bc of the defense. I just get tired of watching the Jones morons make the same errors over and over. They don't learn from mistakes. So, now we have our Irvin, Harper, and Aikman. Maybe one for these RBs becomes Emmitt Smith and we can then relive the 90's. Oh wait..... the defense.Seriously though, both guys might work out well here. I'm ok with them taking swings at wr. At least now it's REAL effort, not talk. Time will tell if we got the player right.
