I'm glad to see Rush gone, but not because I didn't appreciate his effort.

More so because we really do need to be drafting our next qb and this departure makes it more likely.

Sure it does, because when we draft a QB outside of the first round their contract will be expiring the same time as Dak's. So we will have to resign our QB, that never played, to a starting contract. That sounds about right for GM Jethro's excellent planning.
