So what if we retain JG, but fire Linny

New blood. We need someone with new blood and a new scheme. I’d love to talk about the Cowboys current offensive scheme, but they don’t have a “scheme”. Scheming someone would indicate a plan to attack their weakness. The cowboys don’t do that.

IIRC, Linehan brought in his own playbook when he got here. If that’s the case then firing Linehan could have a big impact on the team.

Jerry specifically said they went Linehan because they didn’t want to change the playbook. It was more about play-calling then anything else, including getting the ball to Dez like they did with Johnson in Detroit and actually run the ball...

Linehan has done a good job.

He’s ran Garrett’s offense and made sure we haven’t got pass happy in his time here.

I’m fine with getting rid of him but not before Garrett.

If you keep Garrett you have to keep Linehan and let him have full control of the offense.

The guy is the main reason Dak has progressed like he did and made this a play-action offense. If Garrett was in charge of the offense, it would be disastrous.

I think we’re on the same page here.

Blame the scheme and not Linehan....?

Todd Haley...has a mean streak too! Norv Turner would be great too.

Norv retired in 2016 and he's 65. Let's leave him in the 90s, please. Can't imagine why Haley would leave Pittsburgh for the same position. He's from Pittsburgh, and under a defensive HC the offense is entirely his show.

Mike Zimmer should’ve been the long time HC of the Cowboys NOT Garrett. Yet another long line of mistakes JJ has made. Zimmer was here and ready what a mistake.

Add more speed to the wr and te positions......oh and not to mention, improve route running and creative play scheming to exploit mismatches.......if not then they'll just continue to rely on taking each play one play at a time and each player (as slow as they may be) is expected to win their 1vs1 matchups.

People crying about the offense just aren't credible. They'll make up any excuse to discredit it.

My favorite is that it takes great players or it collapses. Please remind me about all those offensive juggernauts over the past decade with bad players.
Yup. We need someone to stretch the field. A true deep threat makes our offense unstoppable. Both 1 receivers we got getting single covered.

We need the Kubiak/Shanahan playbook that emphasizes designed rollouts.

Dak is not a classic 7 step drop back like Aikman nor does he want to be the improv guy like Romo so he needs to be told to get on the move.

He’s awful at driving his feet in the pocket and only does it on the run so go with the Kubiak system. With his health issues don’t know who will be the person to actually do it but that’s the playbook we need

Who is our new OC? Who is out there? What kind of offense do you want with Dak and Zeke?

We have seen this same offense for 10 years now. It's time.

Jason is just a face for Jerry anyways. He doesn't call plays offensively or defensively. He claps and tells this group of millineals (and one old guy,) stories about Brice Springsteen.

We could have Antonio Brown or Julio Jones and this staff would turn them into Dez and Beez.

Gonna be some upset people here this offseason if the team doesn't collapse here the next few weeks.

Dak needs a good QB coach to work with him. Not WW. He's been here forever.
