Parcells finally allowing Payton to open up the playbook? I noticed late in the 3rd we were back to running it and protecting the lead. Why? Why do you go completely away from what was working and got you those pts?

I just dont get it. Sure running it gets the clock down but why take your foot off the juggular?

The D was fantastic today. Great job all around for everyone. Newman was a beast out there. I saw great sure tackling and some big hits.

I still cant believe they let Glenn man up on TO.

Good game and it was sure fun to watch the Eagles taking it on the chin a few times.

We won the battle on both lines for the first time since oh 1995.

Throwing downfield early and of course the excellent returns were the diff.

There really wasn't a need to keep attacking late in the game, we played to win at the end, not to potentially run up the score.

Oh you mean like the Packers did on the Saints?

That was some class huh?

It's all about execution.

The whole team executed today. When that happens we will win every time. This is a very talented football team that should only get better each week.

Shake it easy guys. This was the same approach we used back in the mid 90's. Take an early lead and then grind it out. Emmitt got most of his yards in the 4th quarter.

This game was played to a similar tempo. I love the grind it out O ... esp when we're ahead by 24 points. Why shorten the game for the Iggles? We played keep away and they couldn't stop us.

That Keyshawn fumble was a fluke. Otherwise, tack on another 3 points. No big deal, but the drive ate up a ton of clock.

We kept the ball for 40+ minutes. If we do that all the time, we're gonna be very successful.

I like this approach. Attack, and then ground and pound. I loved it.

Best game I've seen in almost 10 years. :)

Since we were converting on 3rd down, we could afford to keep the clock running late in the game. I have no problem sitting on a 20-30 point lead.

During the broadcast at halftime Jimmy mentioned that the players went to BP asking for the playbook to be opened up. The results speak for themselves. Todays game could alter the offensive approach of our team the rest of the season.

First time I have been glad to see us play conservative this season. No need to risk an interception by carrying on with the throw. 6 minute drives will kill any teams ability to get back in the game.. I thought it was brilliantly done.

The difference was opening up the offense and playing 4-3 on defense almost the entire game.

Pure motivation. Dallas got beat by the Commanders at home. No way in hell were they gonna let the Eagles' high scoring offense run up the points. And they showed just what they can do when they feel like winning.

I'm nervous for next week. Good luck against my Giants. Although I don't think you need luck now.

The NFC EAST RULES!

If they play as strong next Sunday as they did today, this team will have turned a corner and should play with more confidence the rest of the season. Both sides of the ball came together today as did the coaching. A big blowout win like this has to help their mindset and preparation for the Giants. They are going to have their hands full.

Opening up the offense and getting a 24 point lead. Great game

We then were in nickle mode on D and ground it out - great win!

Giants up next!

Going agianst a QB that can't move certainly helped. I can't believe McNabb won't go ahead and get the surgery he needs. Dude is gonna get killed.

Letting him go back out there for that last series when the game was basically over? Brilliant!

Reid is going to be raked over the coals in Philly this week for allowing him to go back in.

McNabb isnt going to be worth a darn the rest of the year if he cant scamble away from pressure. He should get the surgery done now.

McNabb sucks if he can't move. No doubt. How many passes did he bounce to receivers when there wasn't any pressure?

That right there says it all. Did you see the looks of disgust TO was throwing McNabbs way? Hahah . Beautiful! :starspin

Those 2 certainly do not like each other. I love it.

I would almost trade a win just to see TO pissed off. Almost. :laugh2:
