Goose is bound to write a column this week about how great the Bears' defense is and how they'll be able to shut us down, or even how Rex Grossman is capable of a grea performance against our defense. Maybe even a column about how Devin Hester is the best returner in NFL history.

That, or how great the Commanders are.

This particular writer has always been a joke to me. He calls himself "Goose" and I'm supposed to take his columns seriously?

If he thinks by calling himself Goose, I'm somehow going to be more attracted to reading his columns.....pleeeze!

Once I read his name on top, I basically come away with this in about half a second...before moving on.

He'll also be sure to point out that the two teams we beat were awful, and that our D is struggling. Look for a good "Olin Kreutz is a great center and the Cowboys are now starting a 7th round end at NT" angle, too.

Chances are he will not say nothing, just like those who felt New Orleans would be one of the top teams or Carolina. It was a prediction that is not looking good right now.

No they got better last year because McFlabb got hurt and they had to insert a real quarterback into the lineup. Imagine that? Se what happens when you put a decent (not great) quarterback on a good team?

I suspect McNabb will get hurt early in the next game so Kolb can be inserted with McNabb saving face. It is probably 0-3 either way, but Kolb needs to get started for that team, I believe.

McNabb clearly isn't himself... He's never been an extremely accurate QB but last night you could tell he wasn't close to a 100% and his receivers didn't help him out a lot.

I really expected McNabb to grab a hamstring last night when things were going bad. But, he may figure that if he does, he will be replaced for good.

He just isn't very good right now.
