Hello, you are right!, these so called Experts never admit their mistakes!.

Of course not. It is like the draft do you think Kiper is going to tell you about all the guys he praised on draft day that end up being bust?

Goose will say, as he often does, he hasn't watched a Cowboy game in years. He always uses that excuse.

I can see, if this continues, McNabb being shopped around this offseason. Kolb was the only guy that had any fire going into the locker room (according to the sideline reporter), that's sad and reminds me of the Giants (nobody fired up comment).

Has anyone considered the possibility of McNabb being shopped around this season?

Given the terrible quarterbacking that the Bears and Vikings currently have, I could see either or both offering their 1st round pick in 2008 for McNabb - even in his current state. He's still worlds better than Grossman or Jackson.

Eagles 0-2
Saints 0-2
Seattle gets beat by Arizona
Chicago looks very pedestrian

.. and these are the supposed "good teams" in the NFC.

That is the dilemma that most media and most teams are suffering with right now...LastYearItis.

I did not hear one analyst or media member say one good thing about the Commanders, yet I have thought all summer they have a very good team in place and have been saying for a while now they would start 5-1 or 4-2. Now I think they may get right to 6-0.

San fransisco is a solid team and some people have talked about them and will now continue to.

It happens every year, the media falls in love with a handful of teams and then they act like another team, like last night with the Commanders have no chance. It makes no sense. No one gave the Commanders a chance last night and I have no idea why. I think it is just lazy journalism and people who are in these positions really dont care.

I hate the fact that all these analysts are on tv everyday saying oh yea Dallas is the best team in the division, I heard clarence e hill jr come on with jen engle this morning and say "did you watch that game last night, Dallas is clearly the beast of the east"......that is about as dopey a comment as I could imagine.

If he bothered to watch the game closely he would have seen a very physical and stingy Commanders defense that led to poor throws, late throws and didnt give up a big play all night which in turn led to good field position and then keeping Jason Campbell out of bad spots. The Commanders are very dangerous, they play the style of football that our team is going to struggle with, and we all know that some of those wr would have been open against our secondary right now.

the Eagles O line was bad at pass blocking- no credit to the skins so called pass rush. They have none.

Goose is bound to write a column this week about how great the Bears' defense is and how they'll be able to shut us down, or even how Rex Grossman is capable of a grea performance against our defense. Maybe even a column about how Devin Hester is the best returner in NFL history.

That, or how great the Commanders are.

He basically said this on with Norm this morning.

I'll give you credit for your prognostication, but I'm not sold yet on the Commanders. They lack a solid pass rush and Campbell is iffy. I could see them going 3-1 the next 4 and I could see them going 1-3. A lot of people have written off the Giants but they could give the Commanders trouble this week. They have an offense that could attack the skins.

The Commanders barely beat the Dolphins week 1 at home. I agree they are pretty solid in some areas, they can hang around, but I'm definitely sold on them being a playoff team.

Maybe the skins will jump on it! They could us another innaccurate QB.

The Skins have subscribed heavily to the theory that a great secondary, not a great DL, causes the opposing QB the most problems.

Take an injured QB (McNabb) and less than stellar Eagles receivers, and I'm sure the Commanders did look good.

Undoubtedly their DL may not be as bad as believed. But let's see them against a QB that can throw accurately and get the ball out quick. Then we'll know for sure.
