For every stupid mistake they had, we had one to equal it. We had 50+ yards in the air given up because of stupid penalties by the line. People tend to forget our stupid mistakes and "giveaways" because we won. Not to mention the horrible calls by refs on both sides. They didn't give us this one. We took it.The_Jackal;1130714 said:Carolina. I felt that they gave the game away as much as we won it. The Keyshawn drop would have been devastating. I'm glad we won but I don't like the outcome being dependent on our opponents' mistakes.

We didn't rely on their incompetence. We drove the ball well. We passed all over them. We ran all over them. We dominated them on defense. Pressure caused some bad throws, one of which resulted in a game-sealing INT.The_Jackal;1130766 said:Well, until we correct our end of things we are going to continue to have a rollercoaster season. My optimism is tempered at the moment and will remain so until we BEAT someone thoroughly without relying on their incompetence.

Not sure how well Gurode played overall, but he was a mauler on that play....
