For those of you that don't like Eli, would you still pick Romo over Eli as your quarterback of choice after seeing tonights performance??

I wouldn't.

Give me a guy who plays within his system and doesn't hurt his team as much as he helps it.

I don't like Eli but at least he isn't sandbaggin his team on a weekly basis.

Right now I'd take Eli.

Who diidn't think he would drive the Giants to a score on that last drive?
Can you honestly say that you'd have the same feeling if Romo was in that situation?
The same folks who argue for Romo vs Eli, are the one s who argue for Rivers vs Big Ben.

Those other guys put up numbers, except when it counts-
unlike Ben & Eli who've performed in many clutch situations.

Its like asking would you take Wilt Chamberlain or Bill Russell?

I would have taken Eli even before tonight's game. Eli has won a Super Bowl while Romo hasn't even won a playoff game. No comparison.

That was the difference in the game tonight - QB play. Eli played well and didn't make the killer mistakes like Romo. Same ****, different year.

Are we trying to win big games or score hot chicks?

As much as I hate to admit it and dislike the Giants, at this point if I had to choose between the two I'd go with Eli. Kinda like Dumb Vs Dumber but Dumb has a better defense. (and looks better with a young wr core)

Yeah, I would, but I don't expect many knee jerk reactionaries to agree.

Nope. I'd take 2 guys, not named Brady and Peyton (who are a little older than I'd want to trade for at this point) and that's Rivers and Brees. Those are the only 2.

Wow, Rivers really?? Guy is a ******bag...

It seems so simple with Romo stop trying to make a big play every time you drop back, that's all he needs to do but here we are 3 years later and he's still throwing games away. Right now i'd be ecstatic if we had a bus driver back there because Romo isn't just going to stop being Romo any time soon :bang2:

Don't care what he is personally. He's a winner and he's a darn good QB.

What has he won? 2 Super Bowls? Oh no, thats the other guy who's better than all of them.

As a Raider fan I dislike him and his ways but when the guy plays with a torn acl while Lady Tomlinson sits on the bench during the AFC championship game, I respect the guys toughness and commitment.

Michael Turner played pretty well during that postseason. On the other hand, Rivers was awful after he got hurt. Tomlinson was right to sit out because he realized that Turner at 100% is better than him at 50%. And if Rivers had sat out, too, the Chargers might have gone to the Superbowl instead of the Patriots.

Heck yeah I'd still take Romo over Eli, any day of the week. Look at the red zone comparisons of each team.

The one thing I'll say about Eli is that he's been steadily improving every season.

Romo, on the other hand, seems to be content where he is right now.

I think that has more to do with Jacobs not being able to get in the end zone.
