It's coaching.

If Eli were a Cowboy and Romo a Giant, the results would be the same, IMO.

Heck yeah I'd still take Romo over Eli, any day of the week. Look at the red zone comparisons of each team.

From the meaningless stat department.

Look at the scoring opportunities. Eli led the Giants to more scoring opportunities than Romo.

So what if two of the passing scores came outside of the red zone?

Nitpick all you want, Eli produced the win. When he needed to, he was able to take advantage of opportunities.

Meanwhile, we're up 24-20, have the ball in great field position and Romo serves up a punt. The Giants score on the next possession.

But at least Romo is good in the red zone.

Stats are for losers.

Some times you have to plot your course and stick to it even when your tail wind becomes a head wind. I am glad that the people I count on have a little more resolve than what is being exhibited here.

Yes, because even though he had a bad game last night (and before the seasons end he may have a couple more), I know he will have great games also (like he did last week).

4 extra possessions and still only managed a 2 point win?

Ask Washington how they feel about their red zone offense right now. The topic was beat to death on the Giant's forum last night too.

If you're kicking field goals inside the 20, you're going to fail soon and fail often if it isn't remedied.

As a Raider fan I dislike him and his ways but when the guy plays with a torn acl while Lady Tomlinson sits on the bench during the AFC championship game, I respect the guys toughness and commitment.

I can't remember the injury to Tomlinson, what was it? if it was anything below the chest, I'd understand why he sat out.

Two years in a row now during the playoffs he is sitting on the bench while his team loses. Guy is just done....

Romo over Eli - 'meh.

But this "I'd take Romo over Brees" stuff has got to stop IMO/FWIW.

Carry on.
