NFL is going to have to acknowledge this more because you have many parents now saying their kids are not going to play this game.http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...ts-the-ever-growing-fear-of-nfl-head-injuries

I'm not feeling guilty over anything. Nobody forces anybody to play football. Not me. Many occupations where compensation is much, much lower have even greater inherent risks.
True. But I don't watch those others for my own entertainment. Not me. Many occupations where compensation is much, much lower have even greater inherent risks.
Very true. But players didn't get full disclosure from the league either. CTE findings were buried for years.I'm not feeling guilty over anything. Nobody forces anybody to play football.

Interesting perspective.if you are not smart enough to understand that constant collisions are bad for the brain then that is on you. I really do not have any sympathy for todays NFL players; or to be blunt the past ones either. They chose to play a violent game and make a living out of it. Whining about it now is BS.
Interesting perspective.
got it. That black and white huh?personal responsibility vs its everyone elses fault.
got it. That black and white huh?
Oh I can handle pretty much everything, my friend...including you're fallacious and faulty logic.Yes. If you can't handle the truth don't ask the question.
Agreed. We are not talking about all the ways it happens, but the way the league swept its findings under the rug when they knew unequivocally it was an issue. What about boxing? MMA?
Also the cte issues start in pee wee
league's HS. And colleges.
It isn't just NFL.
Right. A VERY RARE DISEASE affects 96% of the general population. It's not just particular to football players. Man...what you high on tonite??? I need some.A lot of people are walking around with CTE who never played football. These studies have too much predetermined narrative.
Alzheimer's is rampant among the general populace. So is diabetes and depression. Neither were this common 100 years ago.Right. A VERY RARE DISEASE affects 96% of the general population. It's not just particular to football players. Man...what you high on tonite??? I need some.

Oh so you blame explosion of CTE among NFL players and others in their general population due to some other external cause? What - cellphone use?!Alzheimer's is rampant among the general populace. So is diabetes and depression. Neither were this common 100 years ago.
Well they did do that but that's in the past.Agreed. We are not talking about all the ways it happens, but the way the league swept its findings under the rug when they knew unequivocally it was an issue.
