We can't run the ball anymore. It's not just Zeke either as we seen Pollard did not run as well either.
Now part of that is the fact that Moore all but abandoned the run game. But they were not doing much when they did have their shots. Although Dak ran 5 for 20 yards, those were not called plays.
Zeke and Pollard had a combined 12 carries for 25 yards with Zeke apc at 1.8 and Pollard at 3.
So they did not run the ball enough and when they did they did nothing in the run game.

Dropping the ball. Seemed like we had some players dropping the ball again. RB, TE and WR.

Dak...if you hate Dak then you loved it, if you Love Dak you hated it. But not matter what side you fall on or if you are in the middle....Dak stunk up the joint before the fourth quarter.
Sure there were some dropped balls, there were some tipped passes. But once again Dak was off on too many throws.

I don't know what is going on with this Oline and the run game. I have to think that a good deal of the problems have to deal with the center. Bia is just not in the same league as Fredbeard was. One also has to be concerned with the LG spot. I don't know if both needs fixed or just one. But one thing is clear...they are not doing a good job of running the ball.

Kellen Moore. At times he makes it look fresh. Other times it is stale as week old bread.
This team has been struggling on Offense for some time now. He needs to be able to adjust the plays when it is not working. It is clear that teams are not blitzing and giving Dak easy throws down field. So find a new plan.

This is a game that points out that as good as the defense is, you can't count on them to win you the game every week. Zero Turnovers in this game after being used to multiple ones per game the last few games. Now they were getting pressure on Kyler but he is hard to catch. I will say that Micah continues to impress me as he caught up to him a time or two and that is no easy feat.

Special teams were anything but special this week. No blocked kicks/punts. No great returns and for the love of all things Cowboys..>GET RID OF GREG. I know he is bone's boy but good grief how much more of this guy do we need to see. I imagine it will be the rest of the season but they need to bring someone in even if it is next season. Quit wasting money on Greg the Maybe. I am sure I am not alone in saying that every time he goes to kick a FG or XP I am expecting the miss. I am to the point where if they are in FG range I would rather them just go for it on 4th down. For his production you can get a kicker for half the price. Actually you can still probably get a kicker with much better production for a cheaper price.

Penalties, Penalties and Penalties.
You can bash the refs all you want, and they deserve a good deal, but this team still commits too many penalties and it hurts them multiple times throughout games. How many times has this team got in the redzone and you just know there is going to be a penalty that pushes them back and causes them to settle for a FG. I mean you just feel it coming and of course that leads back to expecting Greg to miss the FG. It is so frustrating. The buck stops with the HC and Coaches for the penalties. I liked that they sat CW after getting so many penalties. It sent a message. But he is not the only one getting penalties.

This reminds me of an old Army Acronym SOSDD but for a family friendly board I am going to change it to SOCDD...Same old Crap Different Day.

Ok...enough of my boo hooing and poo pooing.

What happened yesterday is a common theme when we go behind in a game. I’ve seen that exact game so many times.

Get behind, abandon the run game, Dak gets pass happy, refs start nit picking, offense does nothing until the end of half’s, fall short in the end.

It’s an old story that keeps coming on the TV that we as Cowboys fans our forced to watch over and over again even when a new season comes out.

When Dallas runs the ball well and jumps out to a lead we are nearly impossible to beat.

agreed.
az made too many plays at the line of scrimmage batting down passes.
i would like to have seen a counter to that...roll outs maybe.
i still think they abandoned the run too early/too often.
there wasn't a committment to establish it.
results be damned...you have to committ to it.
those 2 and 3yd gains become 4 and 5yd gains in the 4th Qtr.
but you have to committ to it.
if zeke isnt healthy...put corey clement in his spot so he can heal.

our pass rush was absent in the 1st half but started to get to him in the 2nd.
not much they could do.
that was a good game plan they had.

still disappointed we lost a winnable game.
my mind set doesnt change.
we're a good team that can beat anyone if we play to our talent.
we need to be balanced on offense.
something on that side of the ball is off.
i think we bounce back and are gonna make a helluva try at this.

Dak is what he is at this point: Not a very accurate thrower of the football. Coaching is a huge concern also, as once again we were completely outcoached.

We have to win games with our 40 million dollar QB like the Patriots have to win with their Rookie QB Mac Jones.

That’s a problem.

Zeke and Pollard or bust.

Nice post.

We refuse to run the football. And for some reason we refused to play fast yesterday. Dak took the play clock to one second almost every time. It was straight JG and Romo ball.

I do think the refusal to play fast had to do with our defense being on the field so much and them being afraid they would be right back on the field if we played that way.

I agree you can’t do that all the time, but it’s clear when Dak doesn’t have time to think he’s pretty damn good. I haven’t seen us bring the play clock to one second since JG though. I shivered in disgust yesterday with it.

Yes. Exactly.

Funny how that tends to happen (most of the time) against teams we are clearly better than.

Teams that are equal or better.....they have no answer.

The Detroit Lions RBs, led by the immortal Craig Reynolds, rushed for 100 yards more on Arizona than Dallas did yesterday. Their defense allowed half as many points.

It's not just Dak, folks.

The problem is we don’t ask our RBs to win us these type of games and when we do we give the ball to the wrong RB.

I wish we knew for sure what's going on with the lack of run plays. Is Moore not calling them? Is Dak checking out of them? I want to know for sure what is going on there.

Just so we are clear.....you're my idol today.

Nailing it constantly.

The OL is the biggest issue with his team not the QB. It has just showcased how incapable the QB is to elevate and carry the team when needed. Which is what his contract says he should be able to do.

That line is broken and has been for most of the season now. It should cost the OL coach his job. I don't want to hear about personnel upgrades. Those 5 guys aren't this bad.

What is the issue exactly? Even Martin got beat on short yardage run stuff yesterday. The run blocking is bad. Pass protection seems ok
