LOL! Are you saying you assume someone is a “hater” when you don’t know anything about them? Wow. Surely not.Sounds like a hater to me. Never read anything else by him.

It really is mind blowing that after watching Garrett's offense for 14 years that anyone wouldnt be blown away by what Moore has done from day #1. Dak and the passing offense took off when Moore came in. Even under Garrett he was implementing things Garrett had never done and with the deep ball.
But then again, I am sure some of these Moore haters were Garrett lovers. That would make sense.

Appreciate the hate sir CowboyRoy. I thought this was an opinions forum, but perhaps I'm mistaken ...Sounds like a hater to me. Never read anything else by him.

Stop hijacking the thread with your own agenda. That has nothing to do with the thread topic. Do you have something to add to the discussion about Kellen Moore?I'll ask the same question yet again of the Dak haters that I have yet to get a real answer to.....
If Garrett was so awful (and he was and still is somehow), how was Prescott supposed to excel in that situation?
You can't go trashing Garrett AND Prescott.
Makes little sense before giving #4 at least a couple of seasons in a better situation.
This is year one as far as I'm concerned.
Being willing to simply beat up a defense and run the ball play after play has been the biggest aspect of Kellen's play calling development imo. Dude is in a really good rhythm and hopefully this current streak is KM's new standard.
YessirAs you know I have always been a big believer in having a strong running game as the cornerstone to your offense.. and frankly for all the high flying numbers the offense put up against bad teams under Moore we've frequently been found wanting against good defenses .. more specifically against defensive coordinators who were as smart or smarter than he is. And when I say smarter I don't mean he lacked intelligence.. Rather he lacked experience compared to the salty old DCs and he REALLY lacked any kind of feel for calling the running game. I believe that's why the red zone became a problem when he took over.. The plays with which he was most comfortable were passing plays so that's what he went to come nut-cuttin time. But we don't have a go to red zone beast receiver so we stalled a lot down there. These last four games we've seen a lot less of the 5 wide empty backfield in the red zone.. and a lot more of the 2 and 3 TE sets and even the Mac formation with McGovern in at FB. So we're scoring TDs at like an 80% clip down there over the last 4 games. Moore has seemingly found a really good rhythm with the running game now and the results are just spectacular. The best part is that you see new wrinkles every week so defenses never can get a bead on it.. I also would be remiss if I didn't say that the big uglies up front are just maulin fools now.. so a LOT of things are going to work when called.. And it's nice to know that if a team does manage to stuff our run.. we've got an MVP level QB who can hang 400 yards and 3 TDs on a defense that wants to load up the box ..
Go ahead.. make my day..
So the whole premise on your post is you'll believe he's a successful coordinator after he's become a successful coordinator. Ground breaking stuff.
Yup and that is the one part that sucks about all of this. If we continue on this trajectory our coaching staff is going to get poached like no other. lolUnfortunately, he's coaching his way out of town.

It's amazing how being proven wrong on something can help "soften our stance" on things right? Don't feel bad, I wanted Urban Meyer.. !!!I am warming up to the idea that Kellen "The Hammer" Moore might be developing into a great play caller. He continues to get in a groove with Dak (MVP candidate and rightfully so) and our offense is cooking! I do want to see us beat some great teams but the arrow is pointing up and I love what I have seen this season from Moore.
The end game for me will always be winning a divisional round game but for now, this is a Cowboys team with the arrow pointing UP!
And the most important point is that we don't know what Dak's ceiling is! He is playing at an even higher level than the past two seasons and he continues to improve. Dak is in the process of competing for MVP and his leadership is something we haven't seem here in Dallas maybe going all the way back to Aikman.
