Some Big Issues I See

WR blocking and being at the right place at the right time is what we miss when we let Noah Brown walk. Our other wr's suck at blocking and our CB's do suck at getting off WR blocks.

It's going to be a long day vs the Commanders if our DB's don't get more physical. Commanders love those quick screens and then take deep shots.
Diggs do play super soft for his size. Did he play this soft at Alabama?

Whatever Diggs does seems to work for now. Teams don’t attack him much. But I do wonder how it’s gonna hold up when Bland comes back. Someone has to get thrown on at that point.

I think Hooker gets a bad rep. He is our 1 true FS. He's deep in cover 2 and he's the single high safety at other times. Yet I see him throwing his body around and making tackles as the last line of defense. It's not easy to find a guy who plays coverage well and also thumps like Ronnie Lott. I think Diggs makes a big hit now and then, but he's more the Deon type. However, I will say that I never saw Deon miss a tackle. He avoided injury and grabbed guys by the jersey or arm or shoulders. He always stopped them, but he didn't dive into their legs or risk injury. I'm okay with that if a guy is an excellent cover man. If he's not, then I want to see him do something special.

Carson is a decent tackler, lewis is, it's diggs!!!!! Wilson he tackles but he makes them AFTER the player has caught the ball, you never see him get there before the ball is caught

Diggs stopped tackling mid season in his contract year. Liked it so much he has become Sanders like.

Yup I agree with this. These issues are part of why Dallas has been a finess team for a long time.

no doubt, smoke and mirrors can only get you so far before some team lines up and runs you over. Detroit is the perfect example, balanced and physical. They don't need to run low percentage, low success rate offensive plays or exotic blitz /stunt packages that leaves holes in your defense.

They need to bench him........way too inconsistent. For every splash play he makes he screws up 4-5 routine plays. Starting to remind me of Randy Gregory and Sam Williams.

Thomas should play a bit more
