After the poor PS performance I have to hand it to him and his ST's

Jones leads the NFL in net pumt average, and had a fantastic game in Philly.

Bailey is 9 out of 10 on touch backs.

The coverages have been outstanding.

And the blocked punt was the first one returned for TD simce 1992!

Now just get Lucky out there at PR and lets roll!

These ST's will be needed even more now to help dictate games.

yeah. I think the coaches will be encoruaging these guys to take more chances and try to get the turnover and score........on Defense to;

I picked up the Cowboys D/ST in fantasy..... they are cheap to.

Why, he is a very good ST's player.
So his toe was on the line for a touch back, it happens to the best of them. He also made a great block to create Wilber's TD.
I was all ready to replace him as a S, but he is a great ST's player and hits hard and plays with an attitude.
We need that.

Heath is a good special teams player but there was no reason to even touch that ball
He should have just left it alone
But people just don't get that every team has guys like Heath on them and need guys like that

I was yelling to get away. It wasn't rolling back in. Just let it be and make sure Sproles doesn't try to sneak in and pick it up.

I took a lot of smack when I said preseason ST's are not predictive for us as an organization and now we're here.

Remember when the Eagles looked like the greatest show on turf in the preseason?

People still worry about preseason?

They should stop.

It wasn't just the preseason. The Eagles had a great ST season last year and we were very average.

Seeing it repeated in the preseason didn't provide much hope for improvement.

Just saying it will get better with no evidence is exactly the same thing as panicking.

Yeah, it's funny how people want to crucify the guys at the end of the roster, because they are obviously not worth a crap because they are at the end of the roster.

I was really worried in pre-season.

Not so much now.

My only complaint is Beasley as a punt returner. Love him as the slot guy, but he does not belong back there fielding punts. Hopefully, Whitehead can start earning some trust, because he is clearly the most dangerous option presently available.

They are obviously worried about him fumbling. It was one freaking time in a PS game! We will need all the field position we can get going forward, let him loose!

Its almost like these guys get a bonus if they're the first to touch it or something! It was a great play screwed up!

Sometimes you have to let the young players play. Alot of times mistakes are a result of confidence...or lack thereof. But the only way you can get that confidence is by doing it...and it's not quite the same if you only get to try in practice. He needs to be put in sink or swim situations. That's my one gripe about Garrett still to this day. He has trust issues and often takes a little too long pulling the trigger on guy's with obvious talent. C Mike may turn out to be another example of that I'm afraid.

Totally agree. Lucky will probably turn the field and break Harris' record, and Cmike will go for 240 against the Pats!! Hopefully anyway.

C Mike has that kind of ability. There are questions about other sides of his game, which are understandable, but in terms of his ability with the rock in his hands, he could be a huge addition with the Cowboys offensive line. But I'm afraid it's going to take an injury to one of the starting 3 to see him on the field.

Yes he does. And what are the ramifications if he misses a blitz now anyway?? They wipe out Weeds? Big deal! :D

Not so sure if I can blame Bisaccia but ST screwed up with just over 5 mins to go in the game. On 3rd down Martin is called for holding which stopped the clock. PHI declined the penalty to cause us to punt on 4th. We are up 13-3 and desperately trying to run the clock and hold on for a win. We are in punt formation, officials begin the clock and we have 40secs to snap it. Unbelievably we snap the ball within just a few seconds. We could have easily ran off another 30 seconds. Couldn't believe not one coach on the sideline was aware enough to ensure we ran off the clock before punting.

I saw that too. After the Giants fiasco last week that should have never happened. They didn't even run off 10 secs.
