I hear ya. A FAN wanted to cut Free every chance he got yet he made several key blocks in the running game to spring McFadden to have his first 100+ yard game as a Cowboy.

These silly fans.

It was comical when the other 4 OLinemen were making some difficult blocks and dominating big nasty DLinemen that Aikman pointed out Free's simple wall off block of a LB. McFadden would have had even more yards if JP was the RT instead of Free and they would have won the game.

No, I'm blaming Cassel. I think they encouraged Cassel to take more chances in part because Jerry and the front office insisted that they be more aggressive.

Unfortunately, they might have been too aggressive.

There should be a happy medium between:

Super conservative QB that was coached to be super conservative (Weeden).

More aggressive QB that was coached to be more aggressive (Cassel).


How about aggressive QB coached to be conservative (Cassel) or conservative QB coached to be aggressive (Weed).

I love it.
