I know he hasn't done much, but that was one of the best TD catches I have ever seen. If we had won the game, we'd all be talking about that one (and the Terrance Williams sideline catch). That was an incredible sequence of events for the offense. It's so sad that it was short-lived because the special teams pooped on the ensuing kickoff. Anyway, kudos to Street. He finally made a play and what a nice play it was.

He showed up and made a play when the team needed it. Don't know what the future holds for him here but he gets his just due for today.

Don't forget the penalty whether it was bull crap or not!

That's a catch I expect a pro to make but still nice. He needs to show up more.

Yes, it was incredible that he got his feet down in bounds.
Dunbar: Fans want to cut him all off-season and then he is the best offense player early this season.

Street: Fans want to him and give no consideration to the fact that he has played on a bad ankle all season. He then makes what would have been the play of the game if they had won.

McFadden: Fans want to cut him and he shows up big time with 152 rushing yards when Randle gets injured.

Fans beg for C-Mike and he has 18 yards on 5 carries and didn't appear to be in the game anytime they might need the RB to block.

Fans beg for Cassel and a more aggressive offense and turnovers lose a game that basically could have been won by the defense and a conservative offense.

We just need to get this specific group of fans to demand that the Cowboys lose out for a high draft pick and they'll never lose another game.

Now that you mention it, Weeden's conservative play may have won the game today. He took few chances. On a day when the defense only gave up 13 points, Weeden's style may have won it. Oh, the irony.

He appeared to have a smirk on his ugly mug when Cassel threw the INTs.

Was very happy for Street when he caught that. If anyone needed a big time play like that, it was him. Not only for himself and his confidence, but for the team and the coaches too.

Nice to see TWill make some catches as. Well.
And to see Whitehead more involved. I like what he did tonight as well.

I missed that but my response is at least Cassel tried. His accuracy and timing was off, but he put the ball up. After watching Weeden for three weeks, I ain't mad at Cassel at all. Hopefully he will build a better rapport with the receivers this week.

I hear ya. A FAN wanted to cut Free every chance he got yet he made several key blocks in the running game to spring McFadden to have his first 100+ yard game as a Cowboy.

These silly fans. ;)

No, I'm blaming Cassel. I think they encouraged Cassel to take more chances in part because Jerry and the front office insisted that they be more aggressive.

Unfortunately, they might have been too aggressive.

There should be a happy medium between:

Super conservative QB that was coached to be super conservative (Weeden).

More aggressive QB that was coached to be more aggressive (Cassel).

How about aggressive QB coached to be conservative (Cassel) or conservative QB coached to be aggressive (Weed).
