I hear ya, but the good thing is that even if we lose we can win the division the next week. It's not what anyone wants, but I'm thankful that we'll have the chance to do it if it doesn't work out this week. If the Giants had won against the Skins, a Cowboys loss to the Eagles could have screwed us (and REALLY ruined Christmas Eve) if I'm not mistaken.

I get the attempt at optimism, but those Giants finished 8-8... They weren't that good. The real comp that year was the Eagles, who finished 11-5.

Plus, we actually beat a top team that year down the stretch... The eventual Super Bowl champs, in fact, and at their place. This year, nothing like that.
