OK we aren't posting enough about good plays.

So obviously TO played well. He's not dropping balls anymore. He seems to have that 5th gear after he catches the ball. They are moving him around beautifully.

Kudos to Sam Hurd who is making some nice 3rd down catches.

Oline pass blocking. Just that one sack I think.

Newman holds onto ball for a pick at a key time!

Roy Williams tackling where he gets low and wraps up. One was key on 3rd down on Cooley. Big play. Smart. Much better than start of year.

Run defense stuffing Portis. Washington threw alot, but wasn't getting too far running it.

Demarcus Ware is a Monster/Beast/Inhuman. Yes he was gassed at end. The guy runs guys down from opposite side of the field after they are into our secondary. Huge key play with the sack/forced fumble. His motor is limitless.

I love Ratliff's motor too. He works hard and got some pressure that don't show up on the stat sheet but rushed the Washington QB.

Marcus Spears is playing better. He's getting in on plays. This is a sign he still has an upside. He's not quite an impact guy yet, but he's solid clogging the run and starting to show up on important plays where he wasn't anywhere to be seen last year or early on in season. Keep it growing Spears.

Good punting for the most part, almost 2 within the 5 yard line.

Anyone else?

offense in general on 3rd down, we continued our stellar 3rd down play, probably pushed it to the 49/50% conversion rate on the season, although you kind of got into it mentioning Hurd

Guess I missed Romo.

He got lucky on a few that went through defenders' hands, BUT man he spots opportunities fast and throws some nice passes off the wrong foot and/or hurried big time.

He makes plays. We need to throw to RB's way more. Design some plays there to mix it up.

The TD passes Romo through were well placed. We are taking that for granted, but Romo is putting the long play balls in the right place, often when hurried.

Hurd's nickname should be First Down. I believe every time he catches the ball, he moves the chains, which is exactly what you want from a third receiver. According to Nick Eatman of dallascowboys.com, Glenn might be back for the playoffs. I hope so, but if not, TO, Crayton and Hurd are an awfully good receiving trio. And the three-headed monster at tight end ain't bad either.

You said it Larry..... he is gifted that way.... alot of QB's dont make the generic plays.... he is seeing things develop either before they do or during.... may kudos to Romo

I posted about those things in a bunch of other threads Low Tech, but you are absolutely correct.

Those things are the key end results! :D

Julius also had a nice heads up play when he caught the deflected ball off Romo's dome. Had he not made that play this game probably ends with a different outcome.
