DALLAS After 3 games

# 1 in ints 0 (tied with NE Minn,phil,SD)
# 2 in 1st downs
# 2 in rush att 33.6
# 2 in time of poss
# 6 in rushing yds per game 134
# 6 in fewest tovers
# 6 in total rush yds p game
# 9 in fewest pass att 33
# 8 in total offense
# 12 in yd per pass
# 13 in yd per play
# 11 in scoring per game 25.6
# 16 in passing yds per game 251

So team is very balanced with 33 passes per game, and 33 runs per game.
They are 2-1 and the only loss was by 1 point.

# 2 in Scoring Drive Efficiency scoring on 15 of 29 drives, with each drive avg of 66 yds

Dallas has scored 8 td's 7 fg.
only 3 teams have scored 10 or 11 tds, ATL-11, wash-10, oak-10.
9 have scored 9 td's so Dallas is at the top or close, if they had just one more td they would be tied
for 3rd in td's instead of 4th
Steelers,Denver and Dallas have 8 td's
Dallas could have easily had 2 more td's, if not for drops, and the one pi call.

So looking at all this I would say our offense has done pretty good for 1st 3 games.

Dallas has had only 6 3 and outs in 3 games,so that is 2 per game which is pretty good.

Dallas is # 1 in ten play drives with 11

Sorry but at week three I don't really care about stats because they can be misleading. We are on the right path but by week 8-9 we will know a little bit more in on our tendencies and where we stand

Love the enthusiasm, but 3 games into the season doesn't mean were headed to Graceland. The Cowboys have lost to the 2-1 Giants, Won at the 1-2 Commanders, and the 0-3 Bears....haven't beat a team with a winning record yet. I love what I have seen so far. If this team is something special it will have to show it the next 3 games. Cincy, Packers and Eagles....the true test is yet to come.

Our consistency at being able to move the ball on offense has been impressive, disregarding stats or not. And Dak will only get better, a healthy Romo is better still, Zeke will get better, Smith will be back, Dez, etc. Our punishing style will become more rewarding as the season drags on and teams start hurting. If we could just minimize the penalties, this offense could be sick.

I kind of agree, but it appears we're getting back to 2014 numbers.

So while it's a small sample size, I view it more or less as a continuation of what we had before we were derailed by terrible injuries.

Essentially I view it as a testament to Dak.

Our offense is a Formula 1 car. Not everyone can drive it, but if you can... Watch out.

Well we cant beat a winning team unless we actually play one lol !
SF is 1-2,cin will be 2-2 , and if giants beat GB they will be 2-2 ! So how is that the true test?
The first team with a good record, unless GB does beat nyg, they would be 3-1, will be the eagles they could be 6-0 or 5-1 when we play them.

The main thing that dak and offense has done, is go on a lot of long scoring drives. and that says something to me, maybe not you, but to me that is impressive.
The only flaw is redzone scoring, but we still have 8 tds and 7 fg's.

Every game is a tough game and earned win, no matter the other teams record. They usually play their best game against dallas.

People would be relatively happy with those numbers with Romo under center. No one expected this with a 4th round rookie starting.
If it was Romo everyone would be ecstatic!
But with Dak they look for excuses why it doesnt mean much.

just a note which makes me hope dak outdoes these 2
Trevor Siemian and Carson Wentz -- two QBs who had never lobbed an NFL pass before this year -- are 3-0. Both had Week 3 performances good enough to earn Player of the Week honors.
Denver hasnt played a team with winning record yet either, and phil has only played one and the 2 weakest teams in nfl.

Dak is already outdoing those guys, it just doesn't show up in fantasy yet.

I don't see anything wrong with statistical data after 3 weeks. It shows how the team is trending at this point in the season. If the data was skewed in the other direction and we showed a heavy negative turnover balance, offensive imbalance or an inability to effectively execute our game plans, I would think early conclusions could be gleaned from that as well. This data is actually impressive being this team is relatively young.

Everyone gets it, you are fan of DAK, we all are..but its only the 3rd game of the season.... After 4 games we will start seeing the good teams separate from the bad teams. Stats can be misleading. Superbowls and HOF inductees are not handed out in September. Let the season play out. but yes, I do like what we have seen so far..
