I just want Dak to continue to protect the football. As long as we are driving down the field and scoring who cares how far we are throwing it? That really doesn't matter.

exactly, and 10 guys can look at same stats and come to different conclusions.
What I was looking for and found was consistency in things, that winning teams usually do.
Long drives, TOP, not turn ball over, get 1st downs, few 3 and outs, rushing td,s, consistent run game etc.
It is true we need to see more games, but the trends are there already.

Some stats tell the truth, and some lie. You also have to stir in the eyeball test with the stats to qualify the stats. The eyeball test tells you that so far Dak is super cool in the pocket and seems very poised. He is getting better every game.

Stats don't tell you if coaches had a great game plan or a poor one. Everything should be considered along with the stats.

Dak has played well enough for long enough to be considered a viable starter, at a minimum. I think most people who are "reserving judgment" are secretly hoping he fails so that they can complain. He has played well so far.
