Some networks no longer available on Direct TV in some markets?

Yeah, I broadcast HS football on 3 of my stations in OK and went to some games and the excitement level was great. I also like the sound of the band on Friday nights.

Man, I am old fashioned about that part of it. I wish they'd go back to showing the marching bands at halftime in college games instead of the talking heads, I am really getting tired of all of them.

Those days are gone forever, I am afraid, Coach.

We have DirectTV, so we have been without CBS lately. Got a message this morning that CBS and AT&T have reached an agreement and CBS will be returning to the DirectTV (and Uverse) lineup. Think the NFL season starting tonight had anything to do with them reaching a settlement? :D

My local NBC station is in a dispute with DirectTv so i have no NBC at this time. But they are airing the game this weekend, which is also on NFLN. I am trying to find out if NFLN will still black the game out, even though I have no local service.
My question is, does anyone have another way I can watch this game from my home? I have the option of going to my MIL's to watch, but I'd rather not.
Thanks in advance.

I'm in Houston now and go to a local watering hole to watch games that are not televised here.

DirecTV fixed their issue with CBS right before the games last night, maybe they'll do the same thing with NBC before those games really kick off.

Oh, one other thing... some guys I work with that have DirecTV said if you call and complain they may give you a discount as well as send you a free HD antenna.

Don't get me wrong, I love my MIL and FIL til death do us part but they are Denver fans cause they lived there for 10 years. Before that they were steelers fans. I know one thing, they will never be Cowboy fans.....ever. I don't blame ya no matter the reason. lolol

Just figured I would follow up on my earlier posts. I no longer have Direct Now or DirecTV. I know use PlayStation Vue and I have all of the stations I lost, while with Direct. It's cheaper and I can not see any difference in the quality of product, to this point. Of course, the real test will be when the games get here but to this point, I am pleased with the choice. Will continue to follow up.

All you need is Star Trek. The rest is just theft of your money.
