When the starting QB is playing, success or failure falls on him. When the backup comes in, a lot of the credit or blame shifts to the coaching staff. All this season has shown is that we have a highly overpaid average starting QB and a horrible coaching staff.

A lot of people had doubts about Rush. I previously advocated cleaning out the entire QB room. Rush is and always has been a borderline 3rd string QB. Never good enough to be 2nd string. Our QB room talent going into this season was a backup (Dak), a 3rd stringer and a project.

Mr twice 6 points with 12 minutes on the board in the 3rd quarter this season would've somehow had more than 6 point into the 3rd quarter against a superior opponent than he faced previously. Then some are expecting him to look mobile next year coming off a hamstring injury.

We need more help than at QB. That is the problem some on the board just don't want to realize. Been that way for a while....people on just Dak like their Fantasy Football numbers are in shambles.

Sure we need more help than just at QB. But when your team doesn't have a Quarterback either, usually that is the first position you worry about. The Main Quarterback is at the end of his road, slow, worn, injury prone and people here think that focusing in at other positions first and popping him right back in means that everything is going to be alright? Lets just have other teams pass rush him and him take the sack after the injury because he is even slower because of the injury...

The team is bad, yes. But your statement is hyperbole. Elite QBs (mahomes, allen) would have this offense playing significantly better than it is. Lamb, Ferguson, Colbert, Turpin are not that bad a group.

Yep...fake news. Yes...people want to "move on" from current starter. The two backups just happen to be on the team at the moment and it is a change...for better OR worse.

People did talk about a couple specifics...but VERY VERY few called him a better QB. Just a different one.

I doubt they would have the offense playing better than this. Elite QBs are able to raise their game at the crucial moments and bring home a win. they utilize the resources they have.
Mahomes led offense scored all of 9 points in a superbowl loss because his OL had multiple injuries and they couldn't get running game going.

this notion of Elite QBs carry the team on their own and just give them any resource and they will make those players great is total fantasy made up in some fans minds.

again, elite QBs, given resources are able to make the plays to pull out wins.
