The additions of Hardy ans McClain put a defense on the field that will be different then what the Patriots have seen on tape so far this season. The defense should be more effective off the edge and more physical in run defense. With Hardy in the lineup they are going to have too account for that weakside rusher much more then the Eagles, Falcons or Saints. With McClain in the lineup, it will be much more difficult dictating the game with intirior running

i wana be optimistic but honestly i think hardy is the only one capable of pressuring Brady CONSISTENTLY. and hes gona wear himself out eventually. No pressure w Brady back there and this game might as well be over

Hey, if the Falcons, Saints and 49ers do well this weekend, the worst that can happen is that the 3-way tie for first place remains through kickoff of week 6

I'm sure Tyrone Crawford is optimistic as well. It must piss him off every time he gets pressure straight up the middle but the quarterback can sidestep because there is no pressure from the edges. I hope to see Crawford collapse the pocket and force Brady right into Hardy on Sunday.

To quote Hardy when asked how he feels about playing Brady,
"Hopefully the same as last time, him on the ground."

Go get em Rushmen!

Crawford had 6 pressures last week and Lawrence was doing well himself (This was alongside practice squad scrubs). Hardy will help tremendously.

Very very rarely does one person, coming off a period of time of not playing, make any difference. I would expect to see this defense pick up right where they left off in the Saints game, just letting the opposing offense drive up and down the field

Lawrence has been good this year, but he is not that guy that is gonna change an offense. At least not right now. Hardy presence and especially when we havs both Hardy and Gregory are gonna leave him with favorable matchups. He is that guy IMO. Our Jerry Hughes

It's good to see a 'Darth' anything be optimistic. I'm hoping to see Hardy line up at dt next to Crawford on 2nd and 3rd and long. If they can create havoc, with Mincy and Lawrence, we should be able to force a couple turnovers and keep this thing close.

Lawrence needs to set the edge and stop getting pushed inside. He has been disappointing against the run.

This is two people.

The key to this game on defense is to attack up the middle, make Brady have to move in the pocket, sacks would be helpful as well.

Hardy needs to move inside some to attack the young guards.

Their offense primarily runs through Gronk and Edelman, we need to get our hands on Gronk (legally) and watch for the little man.

I would make Dion Lewis and the other receivers beat you!

On offense, run the ball consistently, score points preferably touchdowns and do not turn the ball over ONCE!

Got that...LOL easier said than done!

You know.... This season I expected to win our first 4 games. Lowered expectations for this game will make it enjoyable to just sit back and evaluate.

Vader did return from the Darkside

Right now we should be cheering for the 49ers, Saints and Falcons as much as the Cowboys, we know we probably will lose 3 of the next 5 games, let's hope the Giants, Commanders and Eagles match that and we'll win this division.

New England, Edleman, Gronkowski, Brady and Belechick....ehh, oh well. at least we still get the BYE week to heal up some wounds, hopefully ....but Weeden isn't going to accidentally win any games...absolutely have a chance in every game cept New England with Cassel instead of Brandon, not sure why Dallas is playing with themselves.
