You know.... This season I expected to win our first 4 games. Lowered expectations for this game will make it enjoyable to just sit back and evaluate.

I want to see more of David Irving at DT...he was rather active against New Orleans...made a splash play or two iirc.

"One big positive is that Irving gets in throwing lanes when rushing the passer. He has a knack for knocking down passes. He will play with range but again – he needs to get going to be successful. Length helps him as a pass rusher, but I feel like he is going to need some technique work going forward.

He can get off the ball, and he has rare length with the upside to develop as a defensive end. Has had some off the field issues while at Iowa State but the feeling is that he has put those behind him."

Supposedly, he was one of the best pass rusher during last week's pass rushing drills. That's how he got to play against the Saints even though he just joined the team.

We can look at this in two ways. He is really good and we are lucky to get him or rest of the DLine suck at rushing the passer where a guy who just joined the team is better than most of them.

Crawford had 6 pressures last week and Lawrence was doing well himself (This was alongside practice squad scrubs). Hardy will help tremendously.
That's what I'm hoping for, Hardy opening up the rush because of the attention he demands. I can't wait to see Hardy, randy, Crawford and Lawrence rushing at the same time.

The games have to be played. while Dallas is a 7+ point underdog, it wouldn't be a the upset of the century by a longshot.

The ball can be moved on NE's defense. The key to this being a close game is what Dallas can accomplish on D to keep NE's score in the 20s.

The key to this game is changing any tendencies we have shown on offense and defense, Billicheat has had 2 weeks to dissect us and will exploit any tendencies we have.

Yes. Unfortunately Marinelli is not one to deviate much from tendencies. And Weeden simply has too many weaknesses as a QB to not be exploited by a coach like Bellichek.

Not to mention the running game where we motion and park in front of the area we're attempting to run through.....I haven't had the chance to sit down a watch the 22's but I know we "show" a lot by the way the opposing defenses react.
