The defense as a whole played well. It wasn't a flashy performance, but they were solid. Ratliff, Jenkins, Ware...etc. the usual suspects were very solid.

Dez Bryant showed up to play. Especially on the last drive. He made some serious plays. You have to love seeing that kind of competitive fire out of a rookie. This game is not too big for him.

Outside of the end of the half fumble, all three running backs showed well tonight.

Romo was reliable. He didn't make any really horrifying mistakes. Zero turnovers from the QB position is always a good thing.

Doug Free held his own. He did a solid job at left tackle.

Keep adding them as you think of them.

Bottom line: tonight was disappointing, but it's a long season yet. The team won't play this badly every week. In the end this game may hurt for playoff seeding, but this is far from the end of the road. One loss doesn't mean we're going 0-16.

Thats what makes the loss easier for me: I see Roy continuing to improve and looking like he could actually be a weapon, Dez looks to be if not quite what we had hoped yet, a weapon himself, Austin is still Austin, Barber is back to top form..

Unfortunately our play caller hasn't improved at all.
