Look how they handled Dalton Shultz last year, they didn't want to give him a long-term extension due to his market price. The tag gave them time to find his replacement. Also, I believe they thought losing him and Cooper in 1 offseason was too much of a hit their offense. They are in a similar scenario this yr, might be too much to lose both Shultz, Pollard in one offseason. Give him a tag and draft his replacement. Not only are they going to be looking to replace Pollard down the line, but they also have to replace Zeke's role. I fully expect a high running back drafted and probably another day 3 type.I think if they’re willing to take Robinson, that probably means they have let Pollard walk. And in that scenario I think Gibbs becomes a real possibility if Robinson is gone. I would be shocked if he is not a top 20 player on our board.
