Some quick post-combine thoughts!

Tmac and Graham are two players who may now be there at 12 .........no way I'm passing on either one.

-I can understand Graham not wanting to hurt his stock, but there is no reason why Nolen shouldn't of tested. Unless he was injured, it's a red flag for me as he was worried it would hurt his stock.

-I don't think Graham is a slam dunk top 10 pick as I did prior to the combine. His tape is terrific, but his physical traits are average, which is going to hurt his stock.

-Harmon wasn't afraid to test and tested well with strong production. He has the least amount of warts at the position, in my opinion.
since the top ten is usually populated by not very good GMs, I can see them being dumb enough to put too much stock in measurements over tape

Its not uncommon anymore for agents to tell prospects to wait for the Pro Days to workout. I personally dont like it, because he we get juiced info. However in the age of GPS tracking, I dont know how relevant the combine drills are to teams anymore. I dont think not participating is going to hurt either that much
teams discount a lot of things at Pro Days because of exactly that, which is why they will always use the combine numbers over anything else.

-Matthew Golden is my new #1 WR. 6 feet and 4.3 with SEC production. Cowboys have shown interest as well.
-Pierce is clearly the #2 Edge now in this class, Green's stock has taken a hit with those sexual assault allegations.
-Graham not testing, short arms and 25lbs lighter has him falling, but how far? Nolen's character issues could do the same.
-Harmon to me is the best DT that has emerged post combine. Strong testing and physical attributes.
-Will Johnson's stock took a hit with his lack of length, speed was already an issue.
-Hampton will not get out of the 1st rd, but Judkins might now be the back to target over Johnson from Iowa. Giddens the former KState back also had a good 40 time that makes him a late day 2 target.
-I maybe in the minority but Campbell the linebacker scares me to death with his lack of instincts. Schwesinger is my target.
-Emmamori is going to be a 1st rd pick now after that elite testing

-I really believe those prospects who refused to test with hurt their stock. Teams want competitive players not ones scared to compete under same conditions.
I'm seriously watching about 8 players from Texas.Including a good running back who is very fast.

This is what sets Tet apart for me. He's extremely flexible for such a tall WR.

A 6'4" guy who runs say 4.50, can cut, and is great at catching outside his frame sets up all kinds of problems for an NFL corner.
He looks like AJ Green to me. People are really overthinking his speed, or supposed lack thereof.

He is a productive WR who averaged 15.7 ypc. He isn't a burner - he is a big possession WR with great hands who can occasionally beat you deep, and is excellent over the middle/finding soft spots in defenses.

He is going to be very good player because he's a very good player. Not because he has elite straight line speed.

No doubt, now will the Cowboys also be that dumb to pass him up?

This kid has a huge catch radius ......remember Dak likes throwing to a spot and expecting his receivers to be there. This kid reminds me of Lamb a bit.....

He is very talented, just a different type of receiver. I worry more about Dak throwing it when he is covered and having confidence he will make the catch.

As long as he runs in that 4.5 range, he is an elite prospect.

Both are elite prospects in my opinion. I am comfortable with the 4 top receivers and Graham remains my top target for this team.
I can’t see Graham getting by any team after pick 7 through 11. Osa, Graham, and Mazi rotation in the middle would be formidable though so my fingers will be crossed. With the running backs testing well and it appears that the Cowboys might have a chance to draft the top receiver, I am feeling more optimistic about our chances. Really want us to wait then draft two backs in the 3rd and 5th rounds.

I go back to what Pauline said a few weeks ago, high receiver and front 7 players who are good against the run. No mention of running back, which could mean that isn't a high priority.

Maybe but they also have plenty of film and one can't hide pure speed and a ton of bench presses. Unless one is the fool.

Graham, Johnson, and Tet look like victims of prospect fatigue. They've all put in 2 seasons of elite play, they've been touted as top 10 kinds of players for a full year now, and they didn't test at the Combine to offer anyone any new information. So guys like Matthew Golden get to steal their attention away from them.

Between his sophomore and junior years, Tet freaking averaged 108 yards a game, over 25 games. He's a stud. Don't overthink it.

I wasn't on board the Tet train when he was getting top 3 talk, but him falling the teens is just craziness.

I guarantee running back is a high priority. It just depends how the draft lines up. We currently have Deuce as a starter. That is not happening. Pauline has a source but it’s not the end all be all.

Just read a rumor, says the opposite, take advantage of the depth at the position.

Yeah take two backs in the later rounds but put draft picks at the running back position. I agree with that take. I don’t want to overpay Dowdle.

Where would Johnathan Brooks be in this draft?
