-Defense is struggling, but not in creating turnovers, lead the league again. This is without Diggs getting much, sooner or later he will get his.

-I would start Alexander in the slot and Bland on the outside, Wright is more of a zone corner who struggles in man.

-Would like to see Cox playing in the nickel. Saw him take a few snaps last week, rather seeing him in coverage then a Barr, let’s hope Lve returns as well.

-Hilton needs to start and Gallup become the third receiver. Hilton gets great separation.

-Dak has to clean up all of these turnovers, but he is playing at such a high level, where the offense is putting up 30 points almost every game, even with these turnovers.

-SFO scares me the most, even over the Eagles who are very talented.

Gifford is ahead if Jabril Cox on the depth chart.

I expect Hilton to play a much higher percentage of snaps in the playoffs than in the regular season.

I like Bland in the slot and I worry about his speed on the outside. But they don't have much to work with. I am as concerned about Diggs right now as I am about the other outside CB. Diggs have been getting burned a lot lately. I know he can play better.

Cox did play a few snaps Thursday night - and he looked pretty lost. I am afraid this is a lost season for him. Hopefully he gets some serious playing time in the preseason next year. When I see players regress I have to question the coaching. Cox looked very promising last year before his injury. Thursday, he looked like a chicken without his head for the plays I saw.

I see your point about Hilton. He seems to be the better receiver, but Gallup makes some big catches too. I think he has slowed a step due to his knee injury. Hopefully he gets it back next year. The Eagles and 49ers both have good secondaries. Dak has to be prepared to hit the open man whoever that might be, and the receivers need to stop bobbling the ball into the DB's hands.

Call me crazy, but I don't fear SF. They are a tough team but the Cowboys offense when healthy is like nothing the 49ers have seen. Ask the Eagles. The best offense the 49ers have faced is the Chiefs and they scored 44 points on the 49ers. If the Cowboys offense is clicking, the 49ers will not stop them unless they water down their field until it is a muddy mess which they have been known to do. I do wish we could go into the playoffs with Steele healthy though.

Man, you had a good post going there until you went off the rails talking about Prescott.

Clean it up. Playoffs in two weeks.

I was really surprised they didn't have Alexander or even Mullen active instead of Wright.

That can't happen in the playoffs. He will be a liability.

Wright would be fine against lengthy players, but no one around 6’ that is quick. His hips just can’t turn fast enough

Hilton has given this offense a little juice. I know Cox is down on the depth chart, just thinking about coverage. I wonder if Wilson could play in the slot.

I worry about the trenches with the 49ers and their ability to rush the passer without blitzing.

What is your opinion of Cox?

The defensive line, especially tackles have taken a step back. Wright just needs to play more. I would rather see him on the field then Alexander. He makes mistakes but so has Bland and Diggs. The Cowboys don’t trust Cox for some reason. Hilton needs to be the third receiver over Brown so he continue to cause matchup issues. Fans seem to not understand that Gallup is usually covered by the number 1 cornerback because he is the X. Dak has been a little unlucky with the interceptions it seems every tipped or bobbled ball goes to the defense. Dak needs to keep throwing.

Agree on TY over MG. Problem is MG is making money so not sure it’ll happen even though it’s 100% the right move.

What worries me heading into the postseason is the defense has looked poor the last few weeks and the OL / run game has underperformed.

If we don’t get that worked out we’ll be 1 and done.

Our defense peaked and is slowly coming downhill because of injuries and also the team is exhausted....

LVE people may not want to admit it but hes the organizer/leader of this defense hes the one who gets them lined up and makes the calls and he is great at doing his job everything else like stopping the run and playing the pass could he be better? yes but in thay regards hes above average

Have to run and stop the run for any postseason success

Dak cannot go in that scared to make a mistake mode, has to stay aggressive
