PS Do we ever win coming off a bye? Doesn't seem as if we do it very often. We seem to be the only team that gets "rusty" during the bye week...

Garrett is 3-1 coming off a bye week.

He is also 2-0 against the Giants after a bye week.

Good write up except for the bolded part. There is NO EXCUSE not to double Beckham today. Even if he beats Carr somebody better be there. He is their only real threat on offense and their running game is anemic. If he has even a decent game today that's a fail on Marinelli.

The Eagles took him completely out of the offense last week - we should do the same.

The Eagles have strong inside pressure. I'm curious if Dallas will also now have that same type of pressure, inside.

I can see Hardy playing some inside. As well as some stunts, bringing pressure from the inside.

I agree and that's why someone deeper needs to watch him no matter who mans up on him. I don't know they will play a man under but they will be watching Beckham. What I don't want to see is those ins, slants, flags and posts get by Carr and have the entire secondary trying to catch up.

And they'd better defend those pick plays/stacks better. I worry about that more that Beckham and I worry about him.

I feel like we are somewhat due for something to go our way, but I just don't know how we get it done without Dez. Something has to change from the last 3 games, get at least ONE turnover, special teams make a play, a back or receiver break a tackle and make a play... somebody do something. It isn't fair or realistic to expect Cassel to do much, he's been here for a month and hasn't played a meaningful game in more than a year. If he can turn in the same performance that Weeden did against NO, that would be a good building block to start for him. People are worried about him maybe throwing a few picks, but I think he'll protect the ball and be smart.
Eli always plays well against us, so he's the main concern for me on defense. It's going to probably be extremely tough against him, but unlike the last few QBs we've played at least there is a chance for a meltdown.
