I feel like we are somewhat due for something to go our way, but I just don't know how we get it done without Dez. Something has to change from the last 3 games, get at least ONE turnover, special teams make a play, a back or receiver break a tackle and make a play... somebody do something. It isn't fair or realistic to expect Cassel to do much, he's been here for a month and hasn't played a meaningful game in more than a year. If he can turn in the same performance that Weeden did against NO, that would be a good building block to start for him. People are worried about him maybe throwing a few picks, but I think he'll protect the ball and be smart.
Eli always plays well against us, so he's the main concern for me on defense. It's going to probably be extremely tough against him, but unlike the last few QBs we've played at least there is a chance for a meltdown.
