If Brookings were going to start a fight to get guys going, he shouldn't have said ANYTHING to a reporter....

Who on the team will take the fight seriously now that it is pre-planned....

I think Theebs was saying that Brooking was thinking of doing it during the week leading up to the game.

It all starts at the top. I know Jerry is not going anywhere. But he could lay low ala the Parcells years. Just be the GM which I have little problem with taking it all into account. But we need a coach who runs the show and instills some fear into the players. And more importantly bring more to the table than what we have now. The coaches here are good. Just not good enough. JMO. It's an easier change than changing a third of our roster although the roster needs some tweeking.

Now if we go on a tear then I'll be glad to eat crow. More than happy to.

Maybe my frustration is billowing over and clouding my judgment, but I would absolutely love it if the fans at Cowboys Stadium would direct a few chants at Jerry on game day.

They wouldn't need to be anything complicated, perhaps just "New GM!" or "Sell the team!"

How about "Bury Jerry" on a poster that looks like a tombstone?

While some players are definitely doing more than their part, others are just coasting and collecting their big weekly paychecks. The team as a whole doesn't act hungry and and lacks the killer instinct.

It takes more than talent to win in December and January in the NFL, it takes motivation and toughness, both of which seem overall to be lacking in this team and have been missing for a long time.

I don't expect to see much fundamental change as long as Mr. Jones has a white-knuckled death grip on the reins of power.

It is what it is...and that is Jerry Jones' own personal toy and no, you can't play with it, it's his, not yours. Neener, neener, neener.

miserable was last year.

I dont know how to describe what this year will be. god I hope that doesnt happen.

This years team will have 3 similarities to last years team. Same BS coaching during the last 1/4 of the season, a 9-7 record and we lose the last game of the season to the same team as last year to destroy our playoff entry.

They'd be too busy looking through their 3d glasses at the videoboard.

mike lombardi said today on the nfl network that keith brooking was so upset with the lack of emotion in practice this past week that he was going to start a fight to get guys going.

that tells us all we need to know.

there is a large case of fat cat itus out there. A disciplinarian is needed desperately. Jobs need to be threatened.

unfortunately I can not see anyway jerry allows a guy like that in his building again.

I hope they can pick it up.

Looks as if Steve Dennis is right.
