That was as poorly a called game defensively as I have seen from him.

When it was obvious we were getting no pressure..

we don't blitz.

When they kept hitting off tackle..

we never overshifted..

we kept playing a straight defense.

The Rams did not win this game.

Switzer and Rod gave it away.

I do not fault the offense..

They were the only ones who came to play.

Look at New England's defense - they're awful. Did Belichick forget how to coach?

You can have all schemes you want, and you still need enough good players to execute it. Be honest with yourself, and ask just how many guys we have on defense that strike fear in our opponents. One? Maybe?

They have a bunch of JAGs..

We got no balance now.

Defense gives up 47 in Denver now 35 at home.

Forget SB.

Forget the division.

At this point I would almost rather Zeke serve his suspention..

and get it over with.

If we have to start the season next year with him suspended 6 games..

it's season over in 2018 too.

This is exactly right.

I am no football genius. I literally called exactly what Marinelli was going to do last week-and that is exactly what he did.

It is always the same song and dance against a young QB with this guy.

"Give the young QB all day to throw."
"Make the QB read the defense."

Such a terrible philosophy.

Switzer should be benced but knowing Garett nothing will happen.

Switzer has been a complete failure to me.

For all the hype..

he just returns kicks straight up field.

No zigs..

no zags.

No cutbacks

I can do that.

What good is his speed if it's only for 8 yds.?

Marinelli is done. He should be a position coach at this point in his career...definitely not a DC. Tired of hoping for War Daddies, I just want a DC who will scheme and can make average players better.

Sorry but there are just to many JAGS on this defense. DLAW is alone on the line right now except for the twice a game play by collins, same goes for lee at LB and the rooks are our best db's no FS/SS presence at all. Hard for me to put that on RM. To be honest every time they blitz i feel like a TD is coming.

It's called being creative and fooling the offense from time to time. Also known as COACHING. Other teams get guys running free at Dak plenty. I don't blame you for not being familiar with the concept since we've been watching this lame basic defensive scheme the past few seasons.

Just because dallas does not out coach anyone does not mean i"m not familiar with making the OC//QB confused to what where doing. I just do not think some of these guys on the defense are
the ones to do it ala scandrick/heath/crawford/durant/wilber/hitchens/carroll. I look at guys who were just like these guys who left the team via free agency and within a couple of years they are out of the league all together while dallas was trying to win with them.

Defense didn't make plays

Dropped INT, failed to recover a fumble, missed tackles, missed sacks.

Rod is terrible not just today his whole career

Don't forget using a 3 man rush on the Rams final drive when they were obviously running the ball. The man is completely lost out there.

And let me add two plays.......


*3rd and 11 with the Rams backed up to their goal line. We rush four lineman which I guess is ok, but why is the two LB’s and Byron Jones all the way down in the box. I was screaming at the TV. Well we all know what happens, Goff throws over the top for a 15 yard completion.

*3rd and 7 and we rush three which is ok but the entire secondary was 15 yards off the line of scrimmage. Goff completes a pass underneath for 4 yards and the TE runs another 8 before someone is close enough to touch him.

WT* MAN!

I just don’t get the Defensive play calling at times.
