Eagles always a threat. Even when they suck. They just coach well against Dallas. Its a division opponent, none of the games are sealed. Dallas'll win if we get the pass rush, and play a balanced game to give Romo some time. We'll lose if Romo has no time, or we don't get to McNabb.

im giving the eagles as much respect as any legitimate title contender. beating them now would go a long way to asserting our dominance in the division. the rams were simply pathetic. we shall see though.

The rams are horrible. Man they didn't even show up today. This is what happens when you have terrible drafts. This team was great 5 years ago with faulk and the boys, know they're a laughing stock. The NFL is a joke period, half of the teams by week 5 will be looking forward to the draft.

Philly scares me more then anyone in the NFC honestly. If McNabb and Westbrook stay healthy they are going to be a handfull this year.

This will be a test for us. I think we will win a close one but.... if we can really dominate this game it shout scare the holy **** out of the rest of the NFC.

I also live in the Philly area so this game is very important to me. Now i watched the entire eagles game yesterday and i think the Rams defense made so many key mental mistakes that cost them dearly.
They were playing zone defense and the corners and safeties didnt know what the others were doing. That combined with no pass rush caused mcflabb to carve that defense up pretty bad.

It is so hard to say which eagles team will show up on which week. They are very inconsistent. We are the better team as everyone (even eagle fans) know. However, this is always their superbowl. Unlike our rivalry with the Commanders. The eagles players and fans HATE everything about the cowboys.

I watched the game and have a few thoughts:

-DeSean Jackson is the real deal.
-The Eagles corners shut Holt out ......1 catch on only 2 targets the entire day.
-McNabb was poised and showed no signs of the tired arm from training camp.
-They blitzed the heck out of the Rams A gaps all day.
-Corners Samuel and Sheppard looked extremely sharp.

Next week will be a great game.

Philly is a great football team, as they pretty much always have been when Mcnabb is healthy. We should be glad we have to play them twice a year, because they're going to be one of the best teams in the NFC.

I worked in DE about 30 minutes from Philly for one football season. We always hate the skins here but living up there and watching the Philly fans pure hatred for the Cowboys has actually altered my main rival from the skins to the Eagles also now. They hate us! LOL I am online right now chatting with a gal I dated a lot up in Philly and she says they are really scared of Dallas right now....

What ever happened to that Eagle fan that used to post here? (wink)

OK Rams are a very bad team they were last year and they look to be bad again this year. Philly clearly did some very good things in that game but they did them aginst a team that is both weak offense and defensively

Rams have not had a winning season in 4 or 5 years. Philadelphia can be dangerous, but if Dallas brings the pressure, we'll see that the Eagles are not all that.
