I for one, am thrilled with Tony Romo's performance this year.

Frankly he did not play like a QB with that high a rating. If he had not fumbled, then yes he was just about that good. BUT he did fumble FOUR TIMES. And at least 2-3 of his passes were so far wrong they were not even in the same zip code as right. He is going to have to learn to ONE: NOT FUMBLE, and TWO: stop pressing- stop trying to make plays all the time. Learn some self control and stop the impulses.

This Romo vs Bledsoe arguement is beating a dead horse. Romo is your starter. Why? Because, simply put, he gives the Cowboys the best chance to win games. I was not thrilled with Bledsoe's benching, initially, but it was CLEARLY the right move. As for the recent losses... you simply cannot give up 14 touchdown passes in 4 games and expect to win in this league. No one can pressure the QB except for Ware (we are really missing Greg Ellis). This team was not built to "outscore" other teams... but that's what has happened. Add to that a line that has once again forgotten how to block, diminishing returns in the running game... one of the few bright spots has been Romo.

Heres the deal, simple, why keep Bledsoe in he is no kind of investment for the future, he sucks, there is zero upside to playing Bledsoe.

I don't think anyone ever thought Romo would'nt lose some games or have a 158.3 QB rating every single game he plays but we needed to move on with him to see what we have in him.

In fact Romo saved our season by getting us in the playoffs only to have the defense totally bail on him.

Because we ran the ball a lot better under Bledsoe than we did under Romo and in this season, the better running under Bledsoe had nothing to do with Bledsoe's ability as a QB.

Because when Bledsoe was getting time, he was struggling badly this season. And because our defense under Romo is far worse than it was under Bledsoe.

Those are indisputable facts. The running games and defense have been worse under Romo and it wasn't due to Bledsoe's ability as a QB.

Hes shown soom things to me like his Quick release. Commanders now have tape on Romo. ROmo was lucky on the pass to To in the endzone that it wasnt picked off. If he does well in the Commanders game then I will belleive in him.
