But what if the Grier from the Seattle game showed up to play a regular season game? He was terrible last week. Not every performance is going to be easy like it was against the Raiders backups in the final preseason game. You may not like Rush but he has proven that he can go out there and win a game at home and on the road in the regular season.

after last nights performance, We should be cutting Rush and keeping Grier... Rush is solid but anyone can see Grier has more talent and upside
As long as the opponent agrees to just play their reserves and PS players, i think Grier can be adequate. Rush has played against the big time competition. Big major freaking difference. So don't get to enamored by last night's performance.

dude has one good game because he was playing for a job. He’s not better in any way shape or form than Rush

Grier did look good last night to be honest. He's looked absolutely awful every other time he's played though. Neither Grier or Rush do much for me.

Grier had a good game, meaningless game, one in which starters don't really play if at all. Rush is 6-1 in the regular season, has a 300 yard passing game vs actual starters when wins/loses actually mattered.
This is true , Rush has been tested.

They kept hammering on the broadcast that Grier’s performance was to being free from the pressure of competing for a job. I get it. But what’s the pressure going to be like if he has to play 3 or 4 games to keep the season from going down the tubes?

Grier is certainly more physically talented, but Coop has won games the last 2 years to keep the season afloat.
