Someone has to say it Grier is better than Rush

Dak should be moved to offensive coordinator and Rush should start, Grier should be backup and Lance should be third string.

Dak said it himself … the Raiders defense only showed 3 different looks all night.

How about Grier is better than Trey.

Wouldn't it be nice if Grier made the PS? Before last night, there was zero chance another team would claim him.
Still a good chance, most GMs aren't as knee jerk as our fan base and actually analyze things like context.

Grier had a good game, meaningless game, one in which starters don't really play if at all. Rush is 6-1 in the regular season, has a 300 yard passing game vs actual starters when wins/loses actually mattered.
5-1. Still good but 5-1. Over 2 seasons.

I'm watching the game against the Raiders now, and after one half so far, I have to say Grier has been good at the short and intermediate passes, but has missed on all his long throws.

after last nights performance, We should be cutting Rush and keeping Grier... Rush is solid but anyone can see Grier has more talent and upside
Grier has more talent than Rush, but Cooper has experience and going 5-1 as a starter - despite all of them being low scoring games - helps.

Rush isn't going to put up 30-burgers, but he has shown he won't make dumb plays that lose games. He earned the team's trust last year.

Grier has far more ability but less experience. I think the argument should really be Grier vs Lance. If Grier had played all preseason like he did last night, the Lance trade may not have happened.
Trouble is that he didn't. The ability disappears at times into rash/wrong decisions. The reason Rush is the backup with less natural ability than Grier is because Rush has a good head on his shoulders. He can't always overcome his physical limitations, but he's generally going to make good decisions. The reason Grier can't even keep a backup job is because he does not.

Except for Rams game and Eagles game. Defense bailed him in the Rams game scoring g for him and giving him ball on 20 another time.
