Upload bandwidth is the key to this whole operation. If you have low upload bandwidth, then you're not going to be able to stream the game to many people. I stream my tv to my work and watch tv there but the screen size is tiny. I could max out my upload bandwidth to get a decent size though but you could only go to 1 person. But for each person you stream to, you will have to lower the quality of your stream. I only have 386kbps uplaod ( or about that) so thats 40k'ish/sec. Then you'd need to lower that to say 30k/sec so you dont kill your download bandwidth (affects cable, not sure about dsl, t-1 etc...). So if you have 30k/sec of upload bandwidth, and 4 people....that's 7-8k/sec upload per person. So you'll have to lower your stream picture size to like 240x180 and 15fps or to whatever = 8K or 64kbps. This is what i use while at work...the sound is great and the tv qualit is ok, good enough to watch but not sure about watching football at this size. I tried streaming a game before and had it where I could get a decent, but small size going to like 3 people max. If you have 1mbps upload or more, then you can do alot more damage
I have an ati aiw and have had nothing but troubles with the tv tuner and doing streaming video. I'm going to get an external tv tuner and a normal video card and see if I can get better results. Hopefully time warner/RR will increase the upload bandwidth sometime in the near future too.
