When I had to do back-to-back all night drives from Corpus Christi to Charlotte to move the family back in December, I literally heard that song a minimum of once every thirty minutes no matter which station I turned to. At first, it drove me nuts, but I eventually submitted and sang it at the top of my lungs in the middle of the last night just to stay awake. I still don't know the words, so I just made them up.

Roughly 48 straight hours of non stop Gaga (with a three hour plane ride in between). I sang that song for almost a month after we moved and it drove my wife nuts.

Earlier, someone mentioned Madonna 20 years ago. This phenomenon reminds me of that, although it was more like 25 years ago.

The only reason she is outlandish in the first place is because that's what the industry wants. The more ridiculous you look, the more they will publicize you.

She was normal looking prior to being famous and has a good voice, but you can't just be a good singer/musician anymore.

I know this from first-hand experience.
