I hope you do not mean the two Panthers cheerleaders heart to heart.

Sorry I could not resist.

I am not an expert but I think his mechanics are still a little screw. The way kicks from the hashes it seems he trice to slice it and his kicks slice late not early. I almost think he is over kicking. Sort of like a baseball player that is in a slump tends to overswing to compenate for a problem usually in the mechanics.

And how many of his missed FGs have cost us a ball game?

This year---none so far---thank God.

But let me ask you, did you not watch us last year? Seriously, what kind of a freakin question is that?

No that isn't what I meant. Your comment about the fans was nonsense. I hate kickers more than anyone on this forum. Even I wouldn't grouse about a miss from that far. Your comment is nonsense.

Besides, we all know that Tuna wouldn't let Vandy try that right now

You know good and well I was speaking of THE COWBOYS last year. Vanderoopsshankihittheupright hasn't missed any or us that cost us a game----yet---and as stated before, I hope he doesn't. I'm pulling for the cocky little wanker, because he is on my team. I don't have the most faith in him, but respect him as the leagues most accurate kicker in history. But everybody starts slipping sometime. Missing 26 yarders is UNNACCEPTABLE. PERIOD.

As stated before, we all watched too many games slip away because we couldn't make any kicks last year. I just hope we keep him on a tight leash, because a miss next week, or if we weren't playing a crappy team like the Titans, COULD cost us. I don't want to see that again. That hurt to much to watch over and over last year.

GO COWBOYS!

It doesn't matter what you do in the past. Vadergajt missed a really easy kick today. For being the most accurate kicker in the NFL, he is looking rather average right now. Hopefully its just one game, but if it isn't I would rather have Suisham miss kicks. At least he can kick off.

The thing it has to do with this year is that you should learn from your mistakes, which I know we hoped we did by signing the most accurate kicker in history...But we watched kicker after kicker cost us games last year. You should not make the same mistakes and have the same undoings as the year before! Think about it, if you go back and look at the close games with missed field goals at crucial times last year, we are probably 3 wins better. That puts us easily in the playoffs, and one of those games was against the freakin Seahawks...We are closer to the best conference record with a good accurate kicker last year. You can't deny it. You can't change the way things happen, I understand that, but you can remedy your mistakes. I just hope we have a short leash.

Yeah, kickers miss kicks.....But all day long I will tell you that a guy like him, already on thin ice, SHOuLD NOT be missing 26 yarders.

But don't get me wrong...He wears cowboy blue, so he is my kicker. I hope he gets his crap together, and we all laugh about this down the road!

He missed an easy one yes. He also nailed a 50 yarder 2 weeks ago that most kickers in this league would miss.

Do I like that we have 2 kickers on the squad? No. But I think we stay with Vanderjagt AT LEAST the entire season.
