Someone please explain Lite Beer to me?

I refuse to drink Yuengling just for the fact that it's from Philadelphia. As a guy who loves American History, my extreme hate for everything Philadelphia is very hard for me to accept, but I have NEVER had anything good come from Philadelphia except Ben Franklin and he wasn't even originally from there.

yeah, except Yuengling is not from Philly. it is from Pottsville in Central PA. About 100 miles away

If the idea is to get drunk, I wouldn't suggest drinking beer.

I don't know ... with 9-12% beers widely available, you can have a decent path toward getting drunk on beer.

Scotch IMO just isn't a drink to get drunk on. It's definitely a savoring drink.

I don't know ... with 9-12% beers widely available, you can have a decent path toward getting drunk on beer.

If you're out for a long night, I would go with something weaker than 9-12 point beer. You're not going to last long chugging that while hanging out for a couple of hours. Especially if you're downing what amounts to a 12-pack after only drinking a six.

Two of my faves right now, along with Red Stripe and Stella! One beer that I tried at Fogo de Chao one time was Sam Smith's Organic and damn, it was good! I cannot find any for sale at any liquor stores in this area, tho !!
