of the Cowboys taking care of business. If not for us, they would have been in the wild card round. Getting beat by us in the first round!!!

I wonder if they would be taking the little man approach as they have been doing had we lost to the Eagles. For some reason, I think not.

How big was the last second TD throw by Favre against the Niners earlier in the year? Had they lost that game, we might have had the #2 seed.

No, the only reason they are the number two seed is because the Eagles did want to give away their killer game plan that they were going to use to destroy us in the playoffs.

What a plan it was!

If we would have taken care of business in one of the Giants games it wouldn't have mattered. ;)

I agree with you. You can't sell that when you are facing the Arizona Cardinals.

Or, and that's just my theory, they are #2 because they faced a lot of NFL stinkers like the Lions twice, the Bears twice (although they dropped one), the Browns, the Rams, the Seahawks, the Giants in vacation mode. Half of their schedule contained only gimmies.
The have the second lowest SoS in the league if you look at the actual results of the 2009 season. Maybe that helped a little. I guess it's not a coincedence that the 7 teams with 7 easiest schedules all made the playoffs and that you can find both top seeds from both conferences in the last 6 places of that ranking.
