The team is setting itself up to demolish its reputation as a team that can't close the deal in December. And, even with all that Demarco Murray and the offensive line have done to make that so, it simply wouldn't be possible were it not for Tony Romo demolishing his own reputation as the cause of all those December collapses. He is forcing the league to reevaluate him.

Tonight, Romo passed his critic Donovan McNabb on the list of career leaders in passing touchdowns. (He is tied with George Blanda, one behind Jim Kelly and a stone's throw from the top 20 all-time.)

Coming home next week, he needs only 190 yards to pass Troy Aikman as the Cowboys' all-time leader in passing yards. He has a realistic chance of bettering Roger Staubach's regular season wins total next season -- erasing the notion that his legacy is ultimately as disappointing as Danny White's.

As for the playoffs, it's quite possible that Dallas will host a limping Arizona team for the first game. From there, anything is possible.
