First, congrats to the Saints for slapping the Cowboys down...

Anyway, there is something that bothers me about last nights game. After watching part of it again this morning, there seemed, at least to me, that there was too much smiling, butt patting, helping Saints players up and stuff like that. Hmmm...

Also, I saw several times where Roy and Davis actually pulled up before a potential BIG hit. Normally, if Roy gets the opportunity to lay out someone, he does, but, in this game I saw him ease up to many times.

There just was not a sense of urgency from the team last night...nothing like the sense of urgency they showed against the Giants...

Now, I know the Cowboys got their butt kicked, however, something in me is trying to tell me that something fishy was going on during that game. The Cowboys were just to kind last night to the Saints and Payton.

Now, I'm not saying the Cowboys laid down for Payton and the Saints, but, the team we saw last night is not the team we have been seeing for the past games. Even Parcells did not really display much emotion or fire, and after the game he tells Payton "Good job" then trots off like nothing just happened?

Oh well, maybe I'm just freaked out, but, I have a funny, very funny feeling that something was very fishy about last nights game...other then getting the hell beat out of the Cowboys...because I don't buy it...the Cowboy are not that bad...

;)

Flame on...

Yeah, I thought it was a little too easy too. But, I'm tired of calling the NFL the National Fixed League. Justice always works it way up by higher means or the means of a higher power depending upon which way you look at it.

The helping up of other players does bother me. I guess its just todays football but in the old days your teammates would kick your butt if you helped an opponent up.

Yeah Bill told everyone to lose..

something happened last night. I think there heads werent i the game they are definitely better then that.

The NFL is helping the Saints win the Super Bowl to reinstill faith in Katrina victims.

Think about it.

The Rams won in 1999 when their QB went down for the year, behind former bagboy and Barnstormer Kurt Warner.

The Ravens won in 2000 when Ray Lewis was not convicted of murder following the Rams Super Bowl win.

The Patriots won in 2001 immediately after 9/11.

The Bucs won in 2002 after they filed a grievance with the league for having to give up 2 first round picks for Gruden.

The Patriots won in 2003/2004 to remind us that we are fighting a war overseas.

The Steelers won in 2005 because the NFL wanted "The Bus" to retire on a high note.

Conspiracies in the NFL? Hmmmmm....

I agree...Why did Houston pass on Reggie Bush, they could of traded down and still got Mario Williams (a no brainer) It drue questions then.

The happless Saints get Drew Brees in FA (ok I understand it was a gamble and is paying off big time)

the 2005 last place ..3 and 13 Saints are NOW superbowl contenders a year later...and it doesn;t feel wrong. BUT the Saints...come on I could be wrong but I think they are one of few teams that have never won a playoff game an now there on the road to the superbopwl (overnight).

The Stars must have aligned perfectly or the NFL is medaling in the outcome of games ( for good reason NO needs help)

The Cowboys didn't even show up for the game. All smiles and your loosing 42-17 something just don't seem right.....

You clearly point out that the NFL is rigged. If I were you I would just stop watching it. I mean, the Saints can't actually be a good team even though they keep winning. The NFL must have told all the teams to lose for them and they were all fine with it. Are you for real?

That's what I saw during the whole game, it seemed like!

Players butt patting the Saints, helping them up, pulling up on big hits....?

No, they did not throw the game, but, they sure as hell did not take it serious...! It looked like a freaking pre-season game to me...

 Something was just not right in that game...

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.

Not really. In preseason we kicked their butts.

I think this all started in '99 when we were obligated to give them Kevin Mathis for Chris Bordano.

you guys can't be serious, can you? I know how it is after a loss. Looking in every direction for any excuse you can find to make yourself feel better about your team. I've been on that side of the fence myself. Never once have I ever thought of a NFL conspiracy. I've heard it all this season. The Texans pass on Bush so the Saints can get him. The Falcons lay down for them in their home opener. The refs are definately calling the games in the Saints' favor. Can you guys honestly believe all that? Grasping at straws it looks like to me. We exposed your defense and showed that Romo is not Superman.

Don't get me wrong, I think that the Cowboys are a good team with some good players. If the game was played again I doubt that it would have the same results. The ball bounced our way and that's all there is to it. Good luck the rest of the season, and beat up the Falcons.

Been some time since I could use this one...

So, what you are saying is. Since the refs never call holding when it's against DeMarcus Ware, then the Cowboys should win the SuperBowl as payment?

BTW, has holding ever been called on a player against Ware this season? I can't remember a single time it's actually been called. I can however remember several blantent holding non-calls.

...everyone was just trying to get off the field. Maybe that's what you saw.

Over the top effort in a blowout would have been fruitless and just riled or injured someone.

Plain and simple we got our *** handed to us.
NewOrleans played playoff football and we played like it was September.
After we scored, their gameplan was to tire out our defense, we blitzed, they converted with screen passes,we go man to man,Bush eats us up.Onside kick was rhe nail in the coffin.I give payton major props with his gameplan it was a very humbling lose, very hard to swallow.

On a happier note,we are still NFC leaders,if we win out ,no one can erase that

This is a joke, right?

I heard this one already....except it was Atlanta fans saying they "laid" down for us for our homecoming back to the dome. Then when we went into their house a few weeks ago and owned them again, those whispers went away and they started blaming coacing, quarterbacks, etc. What do the Saints have to do to get a little respect? Can't you just admit you lost. It's not the first time this season. Did you make this statement after each loss?
