Is this a way of saying we're getting you know who without getting this thread moved? Seems like it to me.

I'm sure someone will eventually get it moved or whatever. I just love our front office. They make me want to cry in front of the press while protecting their integrity.

I understand Dallas needs the cap room from the Romo restructure to sign their draft picks and cover the McClain and Hardy signings..BUT...there's still some room left and an extra $8 million can come from designating Brandon Carr a post-June 1 cut (which they can do anytime). A new Dez deal also opens moderate space.

Maybe something big is brewing...if not a trade for oh-what's -his -name, maybe somebody else??

"Voldemort" he who should not be named!

Nope we're finally getting a clutch championship caliber QB, they're trading Romo fo Eli!

Well, I guess that's good...at least Eli's back is good and he does have two rings.

So, now I guess Romo has to go up to the Giants to steal a ring.

Bong water? Shouldn't you be drinking something more along the lines of Dom Perignon? *Sigh*

Anyway, I support this post based solely on your signature. LOL

So you're saying something big is coming. First thing that popped up was Godzilla. Then I thought of tsunami. Then I thought of that 50ish ft sailboat I've wanted and my wife is selfishly and in a mean spirited way keeping from me. Who cares if she gets seasick?!

Godzilla, man that movie sucked. I was so disappointed. Fortunately I saw it in 3D, so I was disappointed in all 3 dimensions

I'm just going to call it now. By the time the draft arrives, running back will completely be a non issue and an area of strength freeing us up to focus primarily on defense.

You just have to love what our front office is doing. They know that we endured several years of thinking Tony Romo's arm was the focal point of our offense. They know that all changed last year when we finally achieved the ever elusive "balance" I had harped on for years. Then craziness happened. The balance was shifted when Demarco went to Filthy.

Well. Let me just say it loudly. They won't make it obvious because they're finally operating like a world class front office BUT today's move has everything to do with solidifying that rb position. No one can convince me otherwise. Sit back and enjoy the ride folks. Thr next big splash is just around the bend.

Randomly restructuring Tony weeks after it could have been orchestrated to keep Demarco... Yeah. It's about to get really good.

Get it willie!

Use more logic and less emotion.

The Romo restructure by itself just covers what they need for the current roster.
Hardy Incentives
RoMc
Draft Picks
Practice squad
Players 52/53
IR/PUP

They would have to sign Dez or make Carr June 1st cut to fit another big contract under the cap.

Will logic convince you otherwise? Cowboys had 2M of room. Drafted players will take roughly that space. They now need to fit 2.5-4M in room for McClain. Will need 6-9M to fit Greg Hardy. And I'm sure they'd like something for any Tier 3 signings they do now or during the season.

Logically, though, they don't need $6 to $9 million yet for Hardy, and can create that space in other ways. I think the amount restructured is for that purpose, but that doesn't mean I can rule out Dallas doing something else with it and then freeing up other money for Hardy.

OP makes it sound like he's the only one who wanted more balance in the offense:rolleyes:
