Something isn't right

When they would put the stop watch to Romo release it timed out as quick or quicker than the top QB in the league. That is not opinion, the stop watch does not lie, it has no bias.
Which was many times needed as he would run the clock to zero before he snapped the ball allowing the defense to Tee off on him LOLOL

Any QB can zip it when not under pressure. So just because they picked the right moments to time his release make him legitimately that!?

I think not. Romo was criticized for years on release and as Parcells said, you are what you are.

In the stat of quickest release Romo rated as one of the best and that was measured vs all other QB. Alex Smith actually ranked 1st in his release. If you want to claim holding on to the ball too long, then I would agree that Romo at times would hold onto the ball to long instead of throwing it away, in doing that it did lead to ints because he would at times wait until the defender was on top of him, however it also lead to some big TD's because it allowed the WR that extra bit of time to get open. This is different than talking quick release of a pass.

I thought I asked to agree to disagree? Obviously this is bothering you, and you are trying to force me to believe what you believe is true.

This is what I talk about with obsession and building up of romo.

Just have some respect for yourself and leave it alone!

Not bothering me at all, was only explaining the stats I was talking about as opposed to Romo hanging on to the ball to long which is different than quickness of release. I enjoy talking football and this was never meant to be anything more than that. I respect myself just have a bit less respect for you

Why because I didnt agree with you!? People get over little things like that ya know

He would run the clock down as he was making changes and adjustment to the play. I watch a lot of others games as well and see QB who will run that clock down to 1 to 2 seconds as they too are making adjustments to put their weapons in better position.

No again was explaining difference between holding on to the ball too long which BP did speak of and a quick release which is completely different. It makes me no different what you believe nor do I expect to change any minds. For me I am a fan of Romo and Dak so when I see over the top comments or unfair criticism I’m not shy about jumping into a conversation and debate. Sorry that bothers you and will make note of it in the future as some do not like debate or talking football.

Romo had one of the quickest releases in the game. That's not opinion, that's fact.

Yea .. but don’t bring in established analysis . Lol

Maybe he was referring to Romo holding on to the ball too long trying to make plays but that doesn’t have anything to do with his quick release.

Details details my friend!! Careful. If he doesn’t agree he’ll get frustrated and tell you to take your Meds. Lol

I beg to differ. In fact I remember fans complaining about his release for years and the talking heads, but Dallas still got their wins here and there so they where fine with it.

You can differ all you want, they had video evidence.

I personally don't remember complaints about his release speed being slow, I remember the exact opposite – people praising his release speed, but I welcome evidence to the contrary.

There is no evidence to the contrary. Romo had a release reminiscent of Dan Marino. No, I'm not comparing him to Marino, but their release was very similar.

It's surprising that anyone is arguing this. That would be like saying that Emmit wasn't quick to the hole or that Patrick Peterson isn't fast. Or that Snacks isn't big, or that Stafford doesn't have a strong arm.

Hey, what color is that sky again?

lol, you're choosing to disagree with fact? That's interesting.

I mean there are other reasons to hate on Romo, either you've confused his release for another or you're scared to admit you may be mistaken.

Hey, didn't you know that Travis Frederick actually weighs only 210?

You should try watching some Cowboy games this year then. :D
Haven't missed one in over 39 years :)..Hey I want the kid to excel and I don't think he stinks like Hogeboom, Hensen, Hutchinson, Carter, Sweeny, Bledsoe, Weeden, Walsh, Leaf...etc etc etc...he clearly is an above average starter at this point based on the body of work for his two seasons. At the end of last year I felt he was below league average. Get it done Dak and prove me wrong! I'm cheering regardless.

Those are not facts buddy, they are pick and choose film to try an prove a point. Romo had a whole career and never consistently had a fast release. The guy had a wind up and an odd throwing motion.

I guess a bag off Skittles come in all green since you picked out all the green ones and told everybody that's what it was!

Get over the Romo obsession already.

Someone at least posted a source talking about Romo's quick release. You got one for this, "wind up," assertion?
