Something new and positive

Wow. I guess unless you post something quick and negative here no one cares. Ok MODS delete this thread.
We have a tough schedule this year. Reminds me of last years schedule with one exception.....We are better prepared this year. The Oline/EZE is the key to us having a great season on the offesive side of the ball. I also believe our D is going to be better at the LB and DB areas. The d line will be about the same in mho.

I do wish we would have kept Dez but everyone else thinks it was a good idea to let him go. I also like Twill. Made some clutch catches.

Just a few more months and we get to find out. Pray for a injury-free preseason. Its going to be a fun year. Overall I believe the Boys finish 10-6. 7 and 9 my big ole butt.

I like TWill, too, brother. A solid number 2 when he isn't asked to do more than his roll. Should be good for 700-850 yds, 4-7 TDs. But with this hodgepodge of receivers, the ball might be distributed too much for him to reach those numbers. Doesn't mean he isn't capable of it. When he's forced into the #1 roll, or relied on too much, is when it bites us. He's a good complementary receiver, with good speed, and a penchant for some high-leverage, clutch plays (as well as some stinkers, admittedly).

I do think we can expect more from our DL this year with another year of this monster Tank, a second year from Taco, and RGregory pinning his ears back. We filled a black hole at MLB with the LVE pick, we can only hope to improve there. Definitely agree about improvements at LB and DB

Remember, depending on how Tank lines up, he'll be going up against Solder, now. It might be whomever is oppo Tank taking the fruit of the NYG loins

RGregory with 4 sacks confirmed? ;)
I think the Giants were dumb as hell for paying an average to slightly above average LT the most money in the league. IF, big IF, Dlaw has the same type of year this year as last year than I think he’ll still have food success against Solder.

Hopefully the Giants still start Flowers, who ever lines up over him, that’s my choice for player of the game in week 17.

In a market depleted of solid LTs, the Giants had no choice. It was a no-brianer for them, Aria. Especially considering his pedigree and how desperate the NYG were for a LT, and how bad Flowers is.

Still, I endorse your post :)

This is as dumb as the guy who's a numbers geek and trying to convince everyone that the Cowboys should go for it on 4th down most of the time.

Absolutely all 5 are winnable games. Why aren't they?

Being winnable and actually winning all 5 is unrealistic. Every game is winnable. This list goes under the assumption that nothing else goes wrong in preseason and this team is a contender this year. And coming out of the gate with 5 straight wins after so many changes and question marks with the WR's and TE's is unrealistic to me. DT is highly questionable to start the year. Its more realistic that this team gets on a roll in the 2nd half of the season as the new pieces in the passing game develop more chemistry and guys like Irvin and our injured DT have a chance to get back and get going.

Why? The first 5 are very winnable games.

3 games on the road at Carolina, Seattle, Houston? You are on drugs. And the Giants have improved a lot in the offseason and are getting their stud WR back and an all world running back as a rookie.

@ CAR - W - Tank

NY - W - Oline/Dak

@ SEA - L (close one, Zeke and OL go off, but comes down to the end, maybe we fall just short absent a Romo to TWill miracle sideline catch on fourth down)

DET - W - Dak

@ HOU - W - Condor

JAX - L

@ WSH - W - Oline/Dak

TEN - W - Oline/Zeke

@ PHI - W - Oline/Zeke

@ ATL - W - Condor/Tank (revenge game for that embarrassment last year)

WSH - L

NO - L

PHI - W - RGregory/Lee

@ IND - W - Dak

TB - W - secondary feasting on my boy Jameis; Awuzie/Lewis

@ NYG - W - OL/DL/Zeke. Cold game, trenches.

12-4. Woot!

Spitballing this early in the offseason, of course, but it's fun. Thanks, Phil.

Who is condor?
