Something to think about...

I think they would have liked to have run the ball a lot more. The problem was that we couldn't run the ball effectively at all. We couldn't move it on the ground but that's to be expected cause the Jets are a great defense.

They gave up sacks under enormous blitz pressure. While putting up points. The issue wasn't with pass blocking.

We can run the ball, too. But we do it when we have the space to pull the interior line. It's obvious Garrett doesn't trust our short yardage ground game. Perhaps, if we had our lead blocker on the roster, or if weren't playing such a good short yardage defense, the situation would have been different.

If Miles had broken outside for the back-shoulder fade the play before, we wouldn't be talking about play calling.
If they hadn't blocked that punt, we don't talk about the interception. Ifs are 100% irrelevant when talking about a finished football game.

My old football coach had a saying..."If ifs and buts were candy and nuts, we'd all have a merry christmas." Basically, you can say if this, then that wouldn't have happened every time we make a mistake. But it doesn't do any good. For instance, the 700 thousand draft rueing threads, are totally pointless because the fact of the matter is we did draft Greg Ellis instead of Randy Moss. It happened, deal with it.
