Sometimes it's as interesting what questions do *not* get asked in Garrett's pressers

Not one question just now about Zeke being pulled out of so much of the game, or needless to say, about Zeke's opportunity to overtake Dickerson. In fact, barely any mention of Zeke at all.

There's only so much time, so you may as well try to ask a question that will get you something besides a robotic non-answer.

But to the actual point of the post... I would think it would be more likely to get some substance asking about what went into the decision to pull Zeke so early in the game than it would be to ask whether it's thought that Tony will play this Sunday.

And yet, no... for whatever reason, the obligatory Tony question (as well as others predestined for robotic answers) still made the cut... hehe...

Um. Again, Proximo. It's not that we should have expected any earth-shattering news, but to pretend it wasn't worth asking in the first place is a stretch... it was the LEAST amount of work that Zeke has gotten since he fumbled twice in a game. And moreover, one answer could have been "we want to get McFadden some more intensive work," or "Zeke's ear thing was a problem and there was no use in making that thing more painful," or, more along the lines of your assumption, "it's good to give him a break as hard as he's been running for us all season."

This. Maybe the media has suddenly developed common sense.

They did ask him about it post-game. He said personal records aren't important to him.

Thx, in that, I didn't yet see the post-game... but while everyone seems fixated on the record, there was/is a broader question to be asked and that I've attempted, albeit seemingly unsuccessfully, to point out.

Sirius just said Jerry doesn't rule out Zeke breaking the record Sunday and that he will play a lot. That's why questions aren't asked because Jerry will eventually answer them.
