College Football needs a playoff system.

I worked for Tomey for a year, great guy. Really cares about his kids. Really knows defense. Very smart.

Stoops has been a flop here. We have a great passing attack. The problem is he calls for 30 to 40 yard bombs every 3rd or 4th play. Low percentage and fails a lot.

Our best weapon is our huge freshman TE, Rob Gronkowski. He got an early TD and was unstoppable for ASU, then we went deep 20 times and sputtered.

I remember the "Desert Swarm" defense with Bruschi. I especially loved when they kicked Miami's tail in 93.

A: who gets the byes if there is a six team playoff

OR


B: Who gets the atlarge bids if you have an 8 team playoff.

He can make NFL throws. his delivery may be an issue but that can be worked on, especially if he gets a competent QB coach. It will take a year or two at least before he's ready to start I'll root for him in the pros provided he's not a Skin Eagle or Giant.

He was injured that game, playing on a sprained ankle. That affected him quite a bit IMHO.

His performance against Boise is more symptomatic of Colt's potential.

If the Cowboys needed a QB, i wouldn't touch Colt before the mid(4-5) rounds because of the system and he's kinda thin, along with the fact he doesn't have a cannon. Tony had about as many knocks as Colt and he turned into Gold, but then again Tony wasn't drafted. He's a perfect example of a guy you don't want to "over draft", but that doesn't mean in a few years he won't take the reins for an NFL team and do well. IMHO he's got Alex Smith written on him, but that's just me.
